Men helping menHaving been in a similar place, I found that trying to make big improvements was not only risky but actively harmful; when I'd screw up, I'd look at how difficult the change is and give up. Personally, I found that my "key" to getting out of that hell was making tiny goals, goals so tiny that even I had no excuse or reason not to do them. Goals like "open the drapes once a day," "get out of bed before noon daily," "eat at least one meal per day"... ridiculously easy goals. Once those trivial goa… | /r/MensRights | 27/02/18 02:19 AM
Because I'm male I must be a potential rapist, murderer, kidnapper, or pedophile. If you assumed these things about a racial group you'd be considered a bigot... This is getting real tiring...It's a very literal and technical way of think about it, and I said it to point out that thinking of everyone as potential evildoers (or whatever else you want to call it) is senseless; people are basically good and, as a general rule, aren't out to hurt anybody. I made my comment to point out the flaw in that line of thinking; I disagree with that mindset. | /r/MensRights | 10/11/13 06:16 AM

Feminist Jaclyn Friedman slams MRM "And make no mistake: anti-woman hate is the defining feature of the MRAs..."When the rage from reading the post grew to much, I scrolled down to the comments hoping for a cutting and well-reasoned backlash. Was far from disappointed. | /r/MensRights | 25/10/13 02:41 AM
Looks like hate speech based on a specific gender only applies if the gender is female.Or, better and more to the point, make groups title "I Hate Women," "Women are Evil," etc., taking the titles verbatim and only changing the gender. | /r/MensRights | 25/09/13 09:35 PM
Recently, Facebook Turned Over The Reigns to Feminists to Decide What is and is Not "Hate Speech". Predictably, Hate Speech on Facebook Now Equals "Any Speech Feminists Don´t Like"I wouldn't say there's a deep hatred for men, but there is an understanding that men are impossible to be abused by women. After reading that letter though, I've got a new bone to pick with the rabid ones in feminism. again. | /r/MensRights | 24/09/13 02:58 PM
Define FeminismSomething that, like Affirmative Action, was started in support of equal rights, but now (those who call themeselves feminist) support sexism against men in the same way that Affirmative Action now really just gives unjustified help to non-whites and women. Seriously, I really though I was equal and all that. | /r/MensRights | 13/05/13 02:59 PM
Oh that was painful? Well child birth is worse. Also, "childbirth is worse?" Irrelevant. Just because worse pain exists doesn't mean the pain isn't bad or even terrible. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/13 01:15 PM
Oh that was painful? Well child birth is worse.Passing a kidney stone is worse, from what I've heard from women who've gone through both. Also breaking your femur is comparable to labor. It's the general thing of one-upping that bugs me, in addition to the idea that because we've never been in the exact situation we can't imagine it. The same logic says that empathy and sympathy are impossible without an identical or at least similar experience. | /r/MensRights | 01/05/13 01:09 PM
