Or take a vacation to some other country and do it incognito. You can go through a lawyer. Once you know, you can work from there.

I wouldn't go there either. I think healthy adults don't have a desire to have romantic and sexual relationships with 16 year olds. I think that is why its illegal.

I think there is a different word for it. I think pedophelia is about prepubescent people.

Lets acknowledge that in large swaths of the world its legal to marry any girl who has started her period.

I think that consent gets very harry in these mixed age situations. A 16 year old is just discovering dating and romance. They have some awkward learning to do and they are ripe for a more sexually experienced adult to groom them. There is a huge power/experience gap between 16 and 30. It makes consent weird and it opens up a predatory environment.

Grooming is the issue. Of course these kids 'consented.' But how meaningful can that consent be? How many beers and hot tub-skip school parties did she throw to get these kids in the compromising position?

Romeo and Juliet will never cover 16 and 37. That is a stretch. Maybe they can make a "hot for teacher" law. If your a dude you can go for it because every teen wants to have sex with their teachers. /s

They weren't starving so I am guessing she figured something out. In the last 5 years or so online teaching has exploded as a great option for teachers wanting to work from home.

And that is straight? Like if a 100 year old wants to get with a 16 year old and has the skills its not a legal issue?

In the other 37 is it full consent at 16? Idaho has a graduated system (which i like). They may have the ages wrong but the idea that we won't be charging two teenagers for doing what teens sometimes do is good. And the idea that we will protect younger kids from weird adults seems good too.

lol. In jokes it is. Like crested butte. But in actual conversation it is pronounced "Bute." Like the word Beauty. without the E sound at the end. A butte is a mountain without a peak. So it goes up like a mountain but has a plateau at the top.

In that region, its a jury full of mormons. Who were horny teens but also have to live in the community and go to church with their wives.

I lived in Idaho and I did not know this. That western spirit is wildly independent. Lots of anti vax folks out there. Plenty of preppers. Its a fun and weird place.

The most problematic areas have a low population so I would say that most try to get away. I spoke to a fishing guide (non mormon) in one of these areas. His wife was a teacher but could not get a job in the local school. They had family land so they weren't moving. Sometimes you are a prisoner to geography.
/r/PussyPassDenied17/06/20 02:54 PM

I didn't catch that she was a teacher. Idaho is a conservative state so it would have been a crime either way. But I think most states make the teacher student thing a crime. There is another angle here that you may miss from Canada. Idaho is a hot bed for mormonism. There are areas in Idaho where non mormons have a difficult time finding a job. The community is insular where it can be. So if you are seen as corrupting young mormon boys, the powers that be are not likely to look the other way.

Age of consent here is interesting. I think there are several states in which this would have been legal. But in Idaho it is not. So she gets to register as a sex offender.

When Mormons say seminary they are talking about bible school that prepares them for their two year mission. Its often early in the morning but its not like the seminary that gives you a masters degree and prepares you for vocational preaching.

I guess it was denied because it is an invalid pass?
/r/PussyPassDenied07/06/20 01:24 PM

Who knows if he got what he wanted. As we said, we don't know much about how the relationship actually went. But there is a way to protect yourself against post date trash talk. Non disclosure agreements are pretty common in famous people dating. You can put some teeth in those agreements so she just cannot talk about him. If that was the case we would all look at this and shrug.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/20 05:32 PM
1

Thats the thing. He is a prick. So he does things and they are already the things a prick would do. How would I discourage it? Get to know folks. Go slow in life. Keep relationships casual until I have enough time to evaluate character. Then, I would not care. What does it matter to ricegum if she gets famous. If he gets what he wants out of this relationship and afterword she uses what she learned to make her own career, how does that hurt him?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/20 05:17 PM
1

of course. We don't know a lot about how this relationship has gone. But maybe we can crack this nut from another direction. If you were dating someone would you think "I should get her to sign a contract just in case something I teach her makes her famous?" I wouldn't think that. Because I am not a prick.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/20 04:59 PM
1

I think we agree that she should read her contracts. Can we agree on that and agree that if you are dating someone giving them a contract to sign without explaining what is in it is a dick move?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/20 04:54 PM
1

Lets start with the last. If he didn't explain it and she didn't read it that is on both of them. But mostly him. You should not give someone a contract without explaining the fullness of what it does. If it happened like that he is a first class awful human. But one way you can help keep from being used is to not use his girlfriend for his fame. I am going to guess that if we go through his video history there she will show up as an actress a few times. Or a "look how hot my girl is." Either wa…
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/20 04:44 PM

I think its to make money off the girls he dates. If he wanted to prevent girls from using him for fame, he could just not put the girls he dates in his videos.

This entirely depends on our view of male and female roles. If you believe that women are the weaker race, then it makes sense that you would not hit them. The world view matters here.
/r/PussyPassDenied08/03/20 05:25 PM

Because there usually aren't. Don't let these videos fool you. Most guys don't hit girls.

The 'mother' should have to give up the child. Adoption is the only sensible solution here. No way should she be raising the kid. Edit: who in their right mind would downvote that? In what world do you get to rape a guy then keep the baby?
/r/PussyPassDenied05/03/20 04:37 PM

In the more high end stores they just don't carry it. They have a top size then you are out of luck. At cheaper stores it usually comes in the form of a sur charge. Price plust $2 or something for plus sizes. Plus sizes generally start at xxl or xxxl. Probably makes up for the extra cost of stocking those large items in smallish quantities.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/03/20 03:33 PM
2

They are telling because they were raped. That is how grooming works. You build up a relationship and make it feel like something the victim wants or is willing to do. But grooming a victim doesn't eliminate the rape.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/02/20 03:58 PM
5

She will do that. I promise her defense will be "boys want sex so i didn't rape them." We will see if it gets denied.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/02/20 03:57 PM

It would also use the word grooming. Because that is what she was doing. Grooming a student for future rape.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/02/20 03:54 PM

Sure. But did you see where OP confirmed those broad assumptions? Being right doesn't make me less of an asshole but it is an interesting part of the conversation. This story plays out over and over in all the places young people gather. Most folks aren't very special. We all fall into the same traps. I don't know about you but if I fall into a trap, I want help out and when I get out, I want to know how it happened so I don't do it again.

LOL. THis isn't the most r/iamverysmart post I have made this hour. When I typed it I was thinking more "people will think you are an ass for giving unsolicited dating advice." I didn't think it was in the cringy big word territory. Maybe r/mindyourownbusiness is that a thing?
/r/PussyPassDenied15/02/20 04:13 PM

This does happen. But please don't count on it. So many people end up like OP because they think having a baby will fix their boy. It usually doesn't. If he is a boy when you get pregnant he probably isn't going to become a man when the baby is born. I have seen it happen, but it isn't the normal pattern.

the first day they were here he just completely changed. This isn't true. Saying this minimizes your role in picking a crappy person to have babies with. You knew lots of this before you had babies but you ignored it for whatever reason. He didn't become a heavy pot smoker when the babies came. He didn't forget how to drive when the babies came. He didn't learn how to call people cunts when the babies came. Those behaviors were on display if you had wanted to see them. I would bet dollars to don…

Also, doctors will tell men they cannot get a vasectomy. If you are 20 and don't have kids, you might have to look around for a bit to find a doc who will do it.

Victim blaming? The reason we have age of consent is cases like this. We believe that a 15 year old (male or female) cannot make wise choices around sex. The possible consequences are to large for them to grasp and an adult (especially one with authority) is in a position to abuse their superior reasoning skills to manipulate a situation. Two 15 year old kids have sex and they made a bad choice. That should not be criminal. An adult lures a couple of 15 year olds to their apartment and rapes the…

ITs all about context. I like the candles my wife picks in their places too. Everybody gets to be who they want to be. It is clear the candle makers have focused on the feminine side of the market. Big shocker, who buys candles? So this guy went another way. And if some girls like the "man can" That is fine. It doesn't make them male any more than wearing "boy shorts" does. We should make some candles that we can all hate equally. Microwaved fish Wet dog

I hope so too. Its ok to be a boy. Its ok to be a girl. Its ok for boys to like things that other boys like. Live and let live. Pretty simple.

Her argument is that he is making scents for men. It implies other scents aren't good enough for men. It reinforces the stereotype that men cannot have feelings or like flower smells. Its crazy talk but that is how she thinks. She walks through life being offended that a lot of guys like things like the fresh leather or cut wood smells.

I can handle it. This is a great comic moment for me. I am enjoying your assumptions. What I find funny is that you think your assumptions about me say something about me. In reality, the assumptions you make about people say something about you. They tell us what you are sensitive about. The fact that you are still dug in on your poor assumptions after I invited you to reconsider is on you. And it is fun. Keep it up.
/r/PussyPassDenied05/07/19 02:27 PM

What is fun is that I don't think that at all. Didn't say it. Didn't imply it. You brought that assumption to this conversation. And in the face of my asking you to reconsider, you just dug in. I don't know why you are so emotionally invested in making me the straw man you imagine. But by all means hang on to your assumptions. Even when evidence should have caused you to reconsider. What is ironic is that I bet you consider yourself someone who unemotionally considers evidence. I bet you conside…

so naturally it’s safe to assume you think Nope. Not even a little. Context of a conversation will help you. That comment does not exist in a vacuum. You don't even have to look far. Just look at the purple writing in the title. It should remind you of exactly what we are talking about. The fact that you need to make what I said worse to feel like you have some sort of upper hand in this conversation should tell you something about the strength of your position or the the strength of your emotio…

In the context of this story that we are talking about right now, you cannot think of any other interpretation of my comment? In your mind, the only thing that I could be talking about is staying with the wife and pretending nothing happened? That is as far as your mind will stretch?
/r/PussyPassDenied05/07/19 02:02 PM

I didn't say one bit of what you claim. Really. Not one part. The assumptions you bring to this discussion are powerful and they are hurting your ability to communicate. Maybe you should lay off the downvote and just concentrate on trying to hear the person who is talking. Or just angrily click away. I don't really care.

I don't fault the guy for getting cucked. I don't fault him for uncucking himself. I do acknowledge that he had two choice. Choice 1: Punish the wife knowing that it will also damage the kid. Choice 2: Don't punish the wife to spare the kid. He chose choice 1. That is his right. Nobody should dispute that. This woman is awful. But he is no saint.

No way to demand every penny without hurting your relationship with the kid. THat is part of what is so evil about this kind of scheme. The mother creates an emotional bond that she bets the dad will not harm later. THis dad calls the bluff. That is his right. But, there is collateral damage.

I don't think so. I think making an official false claim is just filing a false police report. IDK what the sentence is for that but it isn't close to what a rapist should get. I want the courts to acknowledge that accusing someone of rape falsely is rape and punish it accordingly.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/06/19 01:15 PM

People have falsely confessed to all kinds of crimes. That doesn't mean you don't prosecute folks.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/06/19 02:31 PM

You use the same standard for the false accusation. When it is false beyond a reasonable doubt, you get the sentence you tried to put on someone else. We won't be convicting for gray area.
