i would have been okay with ordering donuts etc. but he ordered this like very specific dainty and expensive drink when he was just droning to everyone in line "i just wanna coffee man"

There was a homeless guy floating near the register at the dunkin near me in nyc. He was just asking for a coffee. I was like hmm maybe I'll get him a coffee, then the lady in front of me said to the cashier "get him what he wants." He then proceeded to order some mochachino with two shots and wanted two croissant donuts. Like damn man... How ungrateful can you be

Ah, it stands for defensive gun use. It's mostly news articles that sometimes have an accompanying video, nothing too intense

Check out /r/dgu , lots of videos where robbers get shot, and still sprint quite far and then die

Well I understand why it's more insulting. It's both a knock on your looks and a knock on your personality for not controlling yourself, hence the atomic butt hurt

I guess I disagree, but I'm not him so who knows. Maybe he was going overboard or maybe it was a calculated level of banging-his-chest to communicate to certain people, idk

i dont think its about the entire race. i mean if you see a few people dressed like the dad here acting stupid, its fair to assume that the next guy dressed and holding himself like that, will act stupid. a black guy who pulls himself up by his bootstraps and holds himself well wouldn't be prejudged in the same way, imo. i dont think its a color of skin thing, i think its a "i generally dont like getto roudy boys," regardless of skin color, kind of thing

i've watched almost all of his videos and donated a bit so he could get equipment. i mean some times he talked like a dickhead, but you gotta bark a bit louder than the other guy, it's a different world, and i think he was doing what he needed to.

i brought my chinese gf to philly with me this year. i've been trying to shake her bias against black people a bit we're driving to upenn and this black kid (maybe 7 or 8?) is slowly walking across the road when i have the green. i slow down and stop, give a quick beep, and motion for him to move a bit faster. a cyclist near by tells him to watch out and move a bit faster. instead, he's so surprised he deer-in-headlightses me for a second, then gets angry and starts yelling at me giving me the f…

Agreed. It's hit or miss, but when you hit, you hit really well, and when you miss, you miss really hard. But, the good thing is you'll rarely get the lukewarm timesinks that lead nowhere. And yeah, generally things might move a bit slower, but I think foreigners kind of get a free pass; we're not really bound to the same formalities etc. as natives. So being agressive can be more okay. But also, girls who go out to get some dong definitely exist, and many times you won't know just by looking at…

Go, and be forward that you're interested in her. It might be a case of her in a shitty relationship, just trying to be the good person and tell you, but she's interested in moving on. I'd be a bit skeptical too, but if you like her, why not. Everyone's different; it could be any number of reasons she's still interested in seeing you.

haha just being super sarcastic. of course guys using seduction stuff'll end up in LTR's with some of the girls. it irks me when people say "zomg they only want sex, nothing more"

hear, hear! god, i hate seeing the word "negging" anywhere, ever. but, honestly even without the name, we can call it "teasing" or hell, just "flirting" for those who are terribly not funny and want to know how to, watch something like workaholics improv I say workaholics because they use the classic improv techniques of "Yes, and then some" and the "bait and switch" "What are you gay or something?" "Yeah i won the regional bj contest last year" "I was flirting with this girl and she was being s…

The classic day-game opener: Hey there, I saw you doing X and just had to come over and say *pause, Y X = What she's doing (reading, drawing, studying) Y = Compliment ("you are absolutely adorable") Then: I'm Billy, how's your day going?

I like to make up a fake stupid date that "we'll do." something random.. like a romantic night for some sushi.. extra ketchup~ or something weird. then it's a fun thing to reference back to later. "yo ketchup date thursday 6pm" (don't reference this more than once or twice, though, it gets old quick) and it's lighthearded and sets the mood that it'll be casual, fun, and lighthearted, not a big commitment Also, send a quick text usually right after u get the number with something short "hey u nic…

First off, this isn't "me" we're talking about. I'm saying for someone who's not a natural leader (and wants to become more of a leader), you need to become more "leader-like." Neither am I saying to use "underhanded tactics." I'm saying get to know people, be more open, be decisive, and make deeper relationships with the people around you. I'm saying validate those relationships by telling the people around you why you enjoy their company, if you want. I'm not saying be some creepy, person-usin…

I think that's great, and I think that's what we should do. That said, I do agree with you that if it came to I'm only trying to get to know you better just so I can become a better leader Then yes, that's shallow. I'm not saying use people around you to become the person you want to be. But if you want to become more of a leader, and being a leader involves other people, then make an effort to make friends. It seems like you're saying that unless you're a natural-born leader, then you're "not n…

Huh? I'm saying, if you want to be a leader, then that's going to drive the way you act. To go from that to "you are manipulating people" is a stretch. "I want to be a leader, so I will build deeper relationships with these people." Is similar to saying "I like having this person as a friend, so I will hang out with him more" These are not examples "manipulation." If you want to have lots of friends, then go out and make friends, is that manipulation too, since there is an "agenda" of having fri…

if "be a leader" is the same as "come out on top" then I guess in some roundabout way that's manipulative. then couldn't you say "wanting to be a leader" is manipulative? Isn't doing anything with a goal behind it manipulative, according to you, then? if it's not sincere, then it's manipulative. i'm not saying be insincere (although one could, as people often do)
/r/seduction11/10/12 06:22 PM

Manipulative? I said be decisive, make deeper connections. You mean pseudo-qualifying? That's more-or-less a way of saying: "This is why I like hanging out with you" The same way qualification with a girl it means: This is why I find you attractive After re-reading it, I can see how it might sound like I'm saying "fake it and say this," but that's not what I meant. I meant tell them why you enjoy their company.

If you really want to lead, you can! What girls find attractive about alphas is that they are confident and don't give too much of a shit of what other people say. And that's attractive. But I think as a lot of us (girls and guys) know, that's not enough. Right off the bat, that attitude is great, but it's only step one. Attraction > Qualification > Comfort > Seduction So you'll see lots of girls who are attracted to these guys but later dissapointed ("why aren't there any nice guys??"). So I gu…

hey, cool ____ (interesting fashion item) hey what's up Don't come off as too needy, just say it loud enough to hear, but with not a lot of energy. don't be too invested in it, just a way to make yourself a little known. give a little smile, a nod, say it I'm assuming this is with people you've met before in class? if it's like random people in a large lecture that have never met you, maybe hey! Get into the mindset that you're there to "make friends" or "meet people." Be generally positive, and don't be afraid to chat up a dude here and there. If you go into it everytime as "game on," you might stress yourself out, set the bar too high, experience too much dissapointment, etc. Instead mix it into your normal social life and pull it out when you feel like it

Shitttt. Good on you for trying man! I'm really wondering how you looked, though. If you had bad fashion, or committing some fashion crime, that plus the fact that you're alone might make you come off really badly (e.g. oversized jeans with basketball sneakers / fedora / oversized shirt, there's lot's of 'em)

Yes I do this a lot in Korea w/my buds. We just call it "THE CLUB GAME" and we play with our lady friends or anyone. It's rock paper scissors, the first loser (if you have many people, it's the first one to be alone w/ their thing [say if I'm the only one with rock, i lose]) is the one who goes. We choose a girl and they have to go. If they don't go within three seconds we all get to punch them (not if we have girls in our group obviously haha). Yeah the best part is even if you get shot down an…

No way. I fell in love with a girl and had an amazing relationship with a girl that started off as a one night stand. The most important thing is that the guy must have liked you before having sex. If he was just a horny guy looking for ass then I wouldn't put too much stock in it. I guess at the end of the day it's kind of up to him :/

I kind of reverse-AMOGed this guy a while ago. I was being really chatty at a riverside get together (probably 30-40 people there). He was very the "reddit-type" you might imagine, dressed badly, socially awkward, but tried hard to be "alpha" and quite tall and bigger. I was talking to a girl and he silently appeared next to us mid-conversation. I told a story about going to the beach to watch the sunrise but being on the wrong coast (I'm in Korea, the coasts are close). First thing he said was …

Smile and wave / up-nod. You don't have to go talk to her if you don't want to, but that'll make things friendly. You can even small-talk her later on if you're both in the same area. If you like her look just go up and say any ol opener / non-opener hey! what up! hey! you look friendly Etc., go into normal game. But again, just smile, up-nod, go on with your day. It'll give you more confidence :D

I'd say bounce out or instant-date out to somewhere where you're not both just sitting in front of each other in that high-pressure "make great conversation or die" mode. Show her that you have things going on in your life, if it's going on long and slowly running out of topics, you could take that chance to leave her with a nice impression of you. If you don't show intent and physically escalate soon, you might be friend-zoned to her. And you can't really do much of that in a day-time coffee ho…

I think it's like, she just wanted to ramp it down to "snuggling" or something, but when he kindly ramps it all the way down to "lights on, watch football" mode, she usually will miss the touching and passion, and she'll be more ok with it when she re-initiates it.

I know it sounds redic, but stop /r/NoFap In general, girls wanna go for like 15-30 minutes (unless it's one of those Thailand-vacation, got a hut on a beautiful beach and drunk off mojito's all day, kinda days). You need to learn your limit, and how to stop from crossing that line.

"Neg" theory is kind of old news these days. Originally it was just a word for "disqualifying yourself as a suitor." Some people started assuming it meant "lower a girl's self esteem" or something, which is stupid. Think about it, though. A high value man who has lots of ladies in his life will tease you playfully, call you out on your BS playfully, and stand his ground. He won't suck up you to you constantly, or be super sleazy agressive. That's all "negging" meant. These days it's been so bast…

You're right, but guys should learn how to get the one they're into. A fresh AFC won't know how to attract a smokin hot 19 year old. And for all freshmen, read the Game or Magic Bullets or something. You don't have to make pick-up a hobby or something, but know the basics of attraction. I was social proofing like crazy by junior / senior year so getting girls wasn't hard, plus I'm naturally talkative. But man, I wish I knew the basics the first two years. That and I wish I wasn't a Bible study t…

I hate to say it, but guys are so so visual, that if a girl has a fit body and has the visuals down, then I guess there's something to talk about: how to approach a guy, how to get a guy to approach you. But there's a cut-off, for me anyway. I've never had a not-good-looking girl charm her way in to my heart. I'm open to it, but if I'm not physically attracted, I won't really give it a chance.
