As if when women don't get together with friends and gaggle about their men, berate them, laugh at their shortcomings, complain about every tiny thing. Walk into a room where the girlfriends/wives are talking and laughing and watch how silent it gets as you enter. Women do the same thing, so, it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black. I have heard friend groups of women bashing their boyfriends/husbands more than I have ever heard guys doing it.

It's also written in the Bible that with God a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. These "days" aren't literal 24 hour days, but what would best be described as steps of creation. It was always believed the evolutionary process was a slow constant process over millions of years but it has been learned in the fossil record that big changes in evolution happened in big sudden steps, not slowly. So, there is that to consider. It's not so much that the Bible is wrong so much…

It's unrelated here but, uh, you do realize there was no tv during WWII, right? Wasn't gonna say anything but you mentioned watching TV more than once. On the home front people did a lot to help with the war effort. Women joined the work force in munitions factories (look up Rosie the Riveter campaign) and we're instrumental in helping churn out airplanes, ships, tanks, jeeps, etc. Those who were classified 4H and couldn't join also helped by getting involved in recycling programs, newspapers, g…

I've been there. I never tolerated being physically abused but I've been psychologically abused, emotionally abused, cheated on, isolated and controlled. I had an extremely abusive girlfriend in those regards and it fucks with you for life. Get back to things in your own time, we all heal differently. I took 3 years to get past the abuse. Everyone is different. The important thing is that it's over and you can move forward. Don't let anyone tell you that you should be over it. Date when you feel…

The thing about stories like this about absolute horror is that I get there are lunatics, psychopaths, sadists, and all types of mental cases in the world, but you like to think they are the exception in society, not the rule, and that the bulk of their horrid desires would be dampened out of fear of "normal" people discovering their sick, twisted, maniacal thoughts. This is rarely the case. In whacked out cases like this, there are (more often than not) more than one perpetrator, which means th…

Yeah, women "attempt" suicide more often. No, they "create a dramatic scene" more than men. Less than half of those attempts are legitimate. Men who attempt suicide actually intend to go through with it.

To be absolutely fair, when I got divorced I got custody of my kids and only 1 gf of mine gave me a difficult time about my kids being in our lives. The rest accepted them. That one, though, she kept finding ways to argue with me saying my kids should move in with their mother. I lost it one night and told her maybe she should do the same and get rid of her 3 year old daughter...like she said..."for us". You never saw such angry crying about how cruel and heartless I was for suggesting she rejec…

In terms of the Steven Avery case, nothing flew over my head. I lived out there at the time of Halbach's murder. I have been to Steven Avery's trailer, Dassey's trailer, I stood feet away from the burn pit that contained Halbach's remains. I talked to their family members, neighbors, and all of us in the area were well versed in the details of not only that murder case, but the family's history of domestic violence, sexual abuse, incest, and extortion. The Manitowoc county sheriff's office convi…

In my concealed carry weapons class, they taught us never to get into that shit. They tell you that since you are armed and there is a woman being mistreated, do not interfere yourself. Call the police if you want or feel it's necessary, but since you have a firearm, if the woman tells the police you were the attacker, penalties are much stiffer and it happens more often than people realize.

You obviously know nothing about false accusations. I worked as a machine tech at a company for five years that had a production line crew that was 80 percent women. Literally hundreds of them. They learned that if they didn't like a guy either in the tech department or production crew, they only had to say they were sexually harassed and anything counted. I was once accused because the woman said I stood too close to her. I was less than 2 feet away. I saw one woman who claimed she was sexually…

Harvard reunion with suited old men? There's your answer. The Harvard ivy league graduates with 6 or 7 figure incomes feel that their financial resources trumps their old age and buys them the affection of young women. They seek trophies, not relationships. Try middle class where guys are more apt to be interested in women their own age and want substance, not shiny new toys.

There was a whole lot of liberties taken with this, as is with every other "based on a true story" film or series. As far as needing to be believed? Any man accused of rape is automatically guilty until proven innocent. Countless lives have been ruined because someone lied. Here we have a woman who kept changing her story, parts of it didn't make sense, her history of sexually inappropriate behavior to get attention and those closest to her telling the police "I don't believe her" as well as eve…

The very first episode they show this rape victim, constantly changing her story, telling different versions to friends, even foster parents explaining her history of attention-grabbing through sexual displays, even they felt she wasn't being honest. Through her own inconsistencies and changing her story, the evil male cops finally tell her they don't believe her. They can't believe her because she has yet to get her story straight. By the very end, the message was "regardless of the evidence or…

I dunno, there is a slight bit of truth to this. I am not an attractive man by any stretch of the imagination, but I have had a very successful dating history. I am not rich, I was divorced with custody of my two kids (single parent), my endowment is average, and still I got plenty of girlfriends way out of my league. Every single one told me they weren't physically attracted to me in the beginning, but as they got to know me I "became" attractive to them I don't think I ever became a 10 in thei…

He isn't MGTOW and he isn't even on Reddit. Being MGTOW doesn't shelter you from accusations from women. Women know that their accusations against men hold more water than actual proof. The more attractive or the more vocally feminist they are, the more their accusations fly no matter how bullshit they are.

The corporation has manufacturing locations in several states, having identical processes in all locations untangles a human resources nightmare of different processes for different locations. This large company has sort of mimicked union type rules to keep unions out, and it works. I agree that sometimes the whole story isn't told, but I worked for a manufacturer once for 5 years with a majority of female line workers (i was a machine tech) and even though I steered clear of female employees, I…

Well, as an old guy who's been through the marriage and relationship wringer I can tell you what it should take without too much effort. First, don't cheat. That wrecks a guy. I don't care if you feel you need to do it for revenge, just don't. Second, it's true men are expected to be strong, stoic, and have his shot together at all times and women tend to be more emotional and are usually in need of constant emotional support. Most of us are fine with that, but sometimes we get overwhelmed ourse…

I think those numbers (80 percent of women initiate divorce) is based on which one actually files the divorce papers first. The request for the divorce could come from the husband, but if the wife is the one who files the papers, it is counted as her initiating it. The divorce numbers have nothing to do with which one cheated or who hit who in domestic violence situations. Many who cheat stay in marriages as well as victims of domestic violence. The only way to count it all would be based on who…

This isn't new, but it's becoming more prevalent. In the very early 90s, I worked at a company as a machine tech and the production workers were mostly female. One day I was called to the Foreman's office because I was formally accused of sexual harassment. What did I do? I actually had to ask. Apparently, I was standing too close to a female employee. What? Yeah. I was told if I didn't apologize, I would lose my job. I asked what that company's legal definition of sexual harassment was, because…

She picked the coffee shop to give him the impression that the most he would be paying was the price of a coffee. She picked that place because she knew they served the kind of food that she liked to stuff herself full of. It was deliberate deception and he did the right thing. Women like this know all of the subtle tricks. I have begun stating at the time of agreeing to date plans that on a first date, it's dutch. I don't mind picking up the check for a girlfriend, but not for a stranger.

I kind of agree with you in a way. I haven't been a subscriber long, but I have seen the uptick in some cringey stuff on this sub. I get anger, or the red pill rage, and when a guy is fed up with the vicious cycle we need to let him vent and show some sympathy and support. I recommended my lawyer to 2 different friends. One was a guy who was divorce raped and lost any custody, placement or visitation with his son. My attorney, without accepting any money, told him which papers to file and how, and she would only ask for a retainer if he ran into any problems. He regained 50% legal custody and got visitation every other weekend. The same lawyer helped another friend who had custody of his two sons dealing with a deadbeat mom. Again, he got legal custody, awarded ch…

I am tired of hearing from that age group they want a child or fighting with them that I don't want them living with me to be a stay at home wife/GF when I don't want either. Jewish priests and rabbis were allowed to marry and usually did. Catholic priests take a vow of celibacy but Protestant clergy marry, as well. Paul is expressing it's a good idea to stay on your own. He made a choice and advised others to do the same.

It's not just through the philosophers, but Paul the apostle wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. but if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. Paul was MGTOW, I think.

No, my explaining about the overall shortcomings of the entire band was to illustrate how this band was able to command a high cover charge, being as horrible as they are, only because of the hot chick. If there was an equally talented male in that position, the best they could hope for is getting a flat rate of $50 as an opening act. They should have been opening for their own opening act. What I was told by people who know her is that her attitude and behavior is contrary to that. I don't know her so I won't generalize. Maybe the guy did something deserving of getting slapped, but usually in these videos starts out either trying to evade the hits or block them or trying to walk away. Hmmm... Maybe she could have considered and taken the responsibility of making sure she chose a decent father instead of someone irresponsible or a cheater. Those flags are generally very obvious. If women are allowed a free pass on all things regarding reproduction and full control, maybe she needs to take those responsibilities seriously.

I saw a tinder profile of a woman standing next to a coffin with an old lady in it at the funeral. Big smiley selfie. I was in total shock.

Yeah... Uh.... I am 52 and was married 13 of those years and in multiple relationships since. Every single woman I have been in a relationship has done to me exactly what this douche has done to her. I do feel sorry for her, it sucks. But on the other hand, as this repeatedly happens to men, the men are chastised for not seeing the red flags, being handed cliche's like "a fool and his money are soon parted" and told to "take it like a man, accept the loss and "lesson learned". Women giggle their…

Ah! Alaska makes sense. Such a shortage of women in Alaska to begin with, standards are pretty low. A competition also explains unusually high level of thottery. Thanks for the response. Appreciate it.

Originally I heard about incels first and their general messages put me off. Approving rape? Approving pedophilia? Government supplied girlfriends? WTF? I thought MGTOW was the same at first. I don't anymore. Sure, there is some incel infiltration of MGTOW, but you are going to find stories and confirmation on a MGTOW site regarding women, bad experiences with them, and I find it therapeutic for guys to discuss, enlighten, and educate other men they they are equally disgusted at the state of thi…

Considering the possibility that this was a strategic move by Gillette. They know men these days are growing their facial hair, and women are waxing and shaving EVERYTHING, would it be possible to consider the ad was meant to piss off men to get sales for the Venus line from women who support the message? Sales to men were already in the tank.

Really? Is there a source for that number? I mean, I have no doubt that young women today are much more promiscuous than in my day, but 200 sexual partners by 21 seems a bit high. I am open minded, though and would love to know a source on that.

Have no fear, there will be more, and there will be worse. We men are pushing back and feminists and white knights in the advertising profession will up the game. They always do. That's why we are at where we are. Be also prepared for companies who are obscure use this tactic for free publicity.

Scary that the list is so long that she has to post it. Exactly how many men have you fucked in the past month that you can't just contact those guys? If it's more than one, you are a whore.

Trying to look at this realistically. One general truth is that men do not typically write to advice columnists, especially female advice columnists. Generalizations aside, advice columnists are well known for and admittedly write the letters asking for advice THEMSELVES. Why would a "strong independent leftist journalist" make up such a letter? Well, as the public becomes exposed to behaviors like this, the more stories like this come out, the less shocking it becomes. It becomes more accepted …

They shouldn't apologize until Gillette, P&G make amends along with every other advertiser and Hollywood too for this constant assault on masculinity. Tired of being depicted as the idiotic doofus brute, the target and cause of every eye-roll by women.

It is most likely that she simply felt it was an inappropriate picture to just have laying around an office. If I saw it personally I would have crumbled it up and threw it away because a picture like that in an office on display is an open invitation for any female employee to claim sexual harassment. Just let it go. Who cares why?

I have had a few cats. Maybe one was loyal. Every single one of my dogs have been fiercely loyal till the end

You've never had a dog? Get one, show it the slightest amount of care and concern and a dog will show you true unwavering loyalty and love. I have heard people say it's only our perception of loyalty and love because a dog is just an animal. Get one and find out the difference. There is an old saying "God created dogs to show us how He wants us to behave, and created cats to show us how we actually do"

I have no idea. I bought an electric can opener for one of them. A heavy duty one. I taught her how to use it. It was destroyed in two weeks. I am clueless as to how an adult is unable to use a can opener.

I suppose I didn't clarify her mentality enough. She loved my dogs, when they were her playthings. She liked playing with them, going on walks, taking them to the park, giving them treats. It was when one became ill and incapacitated to the point of needing care that he was a point of irritation in her life. It was anger, resentment, and cruelty up to his death. The day after he died she wanted me to get a healthier replacement that SHE chose. Told her to fuck off. I am diabetic. I could lose li…

Nope this bitch was truly cold and heartless. Haven't met one that wasn't. I used to go weeks between relationships, then months, and then years. Now... Forget it. AWALT.

Nope. He died a couple of weeks later. While I was mourning my dog still on the floor, this woman called me yelling at me that my plans for his burial was not up to her standards. Women are heartless.

Women accuse men of doing what they are doing. I have been accused of cheating by several cheating women.

I have had 2 different girlfriends that were incapable of using a can opener. One was in her 30s and the other in her 40s and still incapable of using a can opener. I was buying one literally every other week because they would get DESTROYED in a matter of days It's a sad commentary on the women of today of any age that they are so spoiled and used to having men doing absolutely everything for them that they cannot even operate a tool as simple as a can opener.

The loyalty of a dog is unwavering. That's why I have dogs living with me and no women living with me. Last GF I had living with me was angry that I wasn't taking her out while my oldest dog was suffering from degenerative disc disease. He was in a lot of pain and needed constant care and meds which she refused to give him while I was working so he got all of my care and attention whenever I was home. What did I get from her? "All you care about is that damn DOG. You never take me out because of…
