Not true for most men. 30s I hit my stride and its so much easier to find dates and get laid. Probably sounds like you wasted your 20s and now you realize just getting older isn't the reason why older men date easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 02:20 AM

Yea 3 months ain't shit. Mine that short I'm usually still friends with after, that's an acquaintance. Sounds like you don't like to compromise and would rather draw lines in the sand and fight over them. Sounds exhausting. Just stay single brother.

It's much easier to convert an existing customer than it is to get a new customer. Most relationships I've had started as hook ups. Sex is good, we're compatible, evolve into relationship. This idea of making a guy earn it always back fires. That's why you get posts like "we dated for awhile and then finally had sex and he ghosted me, he was using me for sex." No girl, the sex was that bad, could have found that out much much sooner if you didn't play games. Do what you want, but making guys wai…

The idea they didn't have a choice is obviously flawed as majority of parents would take their daughter preferences into account regardless of what you read regarding empire building among the ruling class. 2nd even among those hand selecting for their daughters would also align with this preference because that's how they get the most value out of the situation. So then you're really just left with a chicken or the egg question. Which came first, daughters wanting rich dudes, or dad's wanting r…

It's the hard truth. If you hook up with a guy and he doesn't come back for more, it was bad. We will put up with all manner of BS for good sex, but bad sex is very meh and not worth the hassel.

A woman could enjoy everything you enjoy and still not be interested in dating you.

Getting hobbies has 2 aspects. Meeting women without romantic intent to perhaps pursue if there is mutual interest in eachother. And to make you a well rounded person who has something going on besides work and looking for women. The idea is not that any girl with that hobby will fall for you, it's that it makes you an interesting person. But hobbies don't replace that look of quiet desperation some men have that drive women away. That requires more internal work.

A waste of 30 seconds I could have spent mowing my yard, but now there's that one little patch I didn't have time to mow. I don't get the point of trying to dissuade human interaction.

I highly disagree. It's all anecdotal, but my mom def routinely warned me about women, much more so than my father actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 10:56 PM

TBH any step dad loses imo. Regardless of this alpha beta bullshit, if you're raising someone else's kids that's a loss for you and for them. Wait until u lock down someone solid to breed. I do agree though that the cringe narrative is mostly about claiming young girls virginity, that's what they consider winning. But when you look at women as whole people then really the winner is who gets the girl in the end. Younger women have there benefits sure but they also can have unrealistic expectation…

This is probably one of the dumber posts I've ever seen and shows a strong lack of understanding of men. Imagine dating just one specific type of woman? That would be crazy and it usually only happens if she looks like his mom or some other weird trauma inducing person. I do believe we as men give too much time to women we find unattractive. This is the consequence of decades of telling men to not be shallow, we've been conditioned to give the ugly duckling a chance. But finally we grow up and i…

Disagree. I think you match with people who have the same views and values related to work. I dated a girl who came from a well off family and worked at her family's company. She had no drive at work nor stress about keeping her job nor interest in finding a better one. This was fine at first, until I realized she never wanted to talk about work and could not relate to any of my experiences. That's when I realized I need someone who actually values their work and has goals, regardless of their p…

Women have such an abundance of options if they don’t like the way you breathe one day or take a few minutes longer than usual to text back, it can be a death sentence. Yes here it is. If she was that into you she wouldn't be pursuing other options. Women will overcome the worst red flags and also dismiss guys over the most trivial things. The difference is if they are into the guy or not.

You accidently left out the word online, as in online dating doesn't work. You described plenty of classic IRL situations that have always worked. Proximity creates opportunity for companionship. Ive almost given up on online dating, last 2 girls were a friend and a coworker, currently still with the coworker and she's awesome. The idea of meeting another online date sounds dreadful.

Right so to answer your question, not it is not reasonable or common to live your life because hypothetical and imaginary people have it better. You can do it. You can justify it. But that's your choice and no matter how much you post about it 99% of people will just keep trying to bone eachother. Average dudes still get an average amount of girls.

And your obsession with the fictional ideal male is not common so don't expect the feelings it generates to be relatable to the average guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/24 02:17 PM

The problem is you feel like it's common because you spend too much time in the online echo chamber. It's not that common to spiral so hard after 1 bad breakup and give up on everything. It seems common on reddit but I bet if u dig up old posts like that most of those people did eventually get over it an move on.

You can't fake it. The real secret is to date women you don't care about. I've come to realize I act that way towards girls I don't really want to date, just fuck, and it makes me irresistible to them. But if I meet a girl I really like and want to date I become a total simp. Idk how to fix it tbh. If you find out let me know. But you can't effectively fake it long enough for anything meaningful.

I think value is subjective and relative. What I find high value isn't necessarily universal. I know because of the vast gulf in reaction I get from different women. Some girls are super into me and some think I'm a weirdo. My value doesn't change that quick, it's just how they perceive me. The problem is the internet, like this sub, is trying to align everyone's value system and judge us all accordingly. How do you value someone's Xfactor? I've been with extremely high value women(by all these …

Low value men have low value behavior and thoughts, enlightening. I think the real culprits usually are more mid value men like I find myself. I get lots of attention from low value women, but can't find a high value one to keep around. Sometimes it's easier to slip and blame others when I know really I need to keep improving myself. But men have realized they have to be better to get better. That's why 99% of manosphere content has some aspect of self improvement. Your comment about that is des…

Extroverts have more success in dating because they talk to more people, and this means they also have more friends. Correlation does not mean causation. Sometimes just seeming open and available is enough.

Yes and they are all in varying stages of ending that relationship because it's no sustainable. Meaning that most people are not in those relationships because people who find themselves in one generally escape. The internet would have you believe that misery is inevitable but average people don't live by internet lore, and they sort themselves out according to their own best interest, which for most people includes sex.

If a guys asks out every single woman and only 1 says yes, he's far below average. Average is so subjective, but if you're only referring to looks then yes I can see how you arrive at such a 1 dimensional conclusion. I've dated girls that are average in some things, and amazing at others. Everyone has their own special set of skills. It just depends on which traits u want to focus on to maximize your current campaign.

No this is an absolutely preposterous idea. Average people are having average amount of sex. Deadbedroom is not normal. I think it was more normal when divorce was too taboo and u got stuck with someone you hate and every time u had sex u risked having a baby. But the vast majority of people are boning eachother. The are so busy boning in fact, that they aren't here on reddit like us losers.

Nah, I think what's shocking is how shallow women are when we've been told our whole lives it's us men who are shallow. Never has there been a campaign to boost men's confidence or self esteem or remind them looks don't matter. It is still perfectly acceptable to belittle men and attack them for their appearance.

No, it's quit annoying. The last girl I date who was significantly younger was a major headache. Once we lived together she just did so many boneheadded things I'd learned not to do cause I'd lived on my own for so long, this was her first place not with her parents. I didn't get angry because it was mostly mistakes I'd made before also, just was annoying to relive them all over again. The reason why younger women are more desirable comes down mostly to agreeableness. If she fucked something up …

The same could be said about women. For decades we've been fed the narrative that men are shallow and only care about looks. Sure there's an entire beauty industry catering to help women look better. But in general they changed society to accept women for how they are. The number of unshaved women has gone up 10,000% in the last decade for example. So I think men feel it will be easier to just complain online until society changes. Beauty products are expensive after all. I think that shallow pe…

As an average man I have plenty of sex when I seek it out. You don't see everything everyone does. The difference is women have sex up the desirable scale, men have sex down it. That's just the natural order.

I have an older friend couple, they have a daughter who I have gotten to know well, she's college age. When I've discussed these things with her she says simply, but women aren't actually like that. And how she lives and acts really disproves the popular narrative that has become so common online. And since then I take these grand statements about society with a grain of salt. Often we are talking about the fringes of society and assuming it applies to everyone when the reality is most young adu…

Agreed. Generic is a turn off. The more unique you are the more likely you are to be someone's type. I grew my hair out long, as a guy it's semi unique in the circles I run in. But I know that certain girls are super into. I know this because of how much they touch it when we are being intimate. So my odds of getting any girl is perhaps lower, but my odds of getting girls who like long hair is infinitely higher. Become an individual person and someone will be into it.

I guess it depends on what problem you're trying to solve. I was speaking about population maintenance levels. Immigration is why the US historically hasn't had any concerns about workforce. I don't see how getting more women to work will get more of them to be mothers. Reducing working hours would be great but there's no way that the corporations would allow it. And there's no cohesive way to make a wide spread social movement to get it.

You left out the phrase first world. Declining birth rates are only a problem in first world countries. It's hardly a matter of economics as the poorest societies have the highest birth rates. These are actually more linked than people realize. Increased birthrate leads to increased labor force leads to cheaper labor leads to poorer people. If we did maintain a higher birth rate the cost of labor would drop and competition for good jobs and resources would increase. Even in the lowest birth rate…

Most people understand men and women are not equal in their strengths. This is especially true in Eastern Block societies. You're taking an argument from western liberal left and trying to apply it to a foreign culture that doesn't partake in it. It's a strawman argument. "In 2017, Ukraine ranked 88th out of 189 countries on the United Nations Development Programme's Gender Inequality Index (GII)."

Well see in many parts of the world, they still value independence and democracy and the right to self determination. For many people this is plenty of reason to risk their life. "Give me liberty or give me death" or some such thing like that. If you don't have a woman you'd risk your life for then that's fine. But you should have the empathy skills to understand why most men would choose to fight while also sending their women to safety. It's the natural order of things. It will take many more …

Most husband's would want their wife to take their kids away and take care of them and keep them safe. Most sons would want their mother to get away and be safe. They need young men not because they are simply disposable but because they are the most capable to enact violence and the most willing to face danger. A balanced gender ratio requires a higher male birthrate because men die more often through violence or danger, both important aspects of war. The irony is that the Ukraine and Russia bo…

The bar is relative. You just have to be slightly better than average to reach it. It's not that hard to be slightly above average. Most of you are just kinda shit and want someone to love your below average ass.

Lol, God who really wants to date a virgin? Date a slut who gives sloppy head and fucks you raw everytime you do the dishes. Dating a virgin is about your Ego and nothing else. I dated a virgin as an adult and took her virginity. So demanding and clingy and expecting some fairy tale bullshit. Girls that have fucked enough scumbags will bend over if you just open the door for them once in awhile.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/21 05:10 PM

This is predicated on the idea that nice guys are empathic. Which is generally not true. Actual nice people don't identify as nice guys because they know they are not always nice to everyone. The people who scream nice guys finish last are the type that hold a door open for a woman and expect her to immediately bend over for him. They aren't empathic, they are just using nice as a manipulation tool to try to get women. But like everything you can only fake it for so long.

Me and women are not equal. This has been truth forever. Biologically, culturally, and socially. It's a fact. There are pros and cons to both genders. The difference is men actually naturally increase in status over time. Women decrease over time. So young men and old women are the most fucked. You see this in nature in countless species. You can whine about it, many do. Or you can focus on yourself and how to improve your odds to and find what you want.

That only applies if you use the dating market. If you play on a global server you will get your ass handed to you by someone better. Its a fact. If you play at the local level you will have much better odds. Go outside and meet people IRL. I think online dating is more of a fad than people realize. It is in steep decline. So many people swiped their whole town this last year and are still single, men and women.

Lol this is how it's worked for a long time... the difference between today and then is that there are more rich people due to a rising middle class, so more men capable of buying love. The other difference is that people actually acknowledge the truth of whats happening. Imo its better for men. That have given up on dating? Less than 1%. Taking covid aside as many are just sheltering in place. But men that have actually given up on the desire to have sex with real women? It's small and will remain small. It's at the core of our nature to keep trying. In Japan the number is higher sure, but not because of women only seeking the top 20%. Even women there arent having sex. Something like 30% of japanese are virgins still at 25. But look at China. Huge disparity in men vs women, so this pr…

This makes it sound like becoming jaded is an inevitability which is not the case at all. We all go through phases I'm sure. But getting married before you know what you really want rarely results in personal fulfillment, satisfaction, and happiness. While you can argue its somehow better for society, western individualism would never be able to revert to this state. And societies which have this have way more problems than benefits in my opinion, especially in terms of violence against women.
