Maybe this sub full of deadbeat losers with porn addictions would watch it but in the long run I think the viewership numbers would fall. Also data can be cherry-picked to validate almost any conclusion, for example if I make conclusions about users of Reddit based solely on the data in your post history, then all redditors are fury’s, now that’s a conclusion that is supported by my data but my data certainly is not representative of the population in making a claim for. You sound pretty biased my dude and may not be taking an objective look at things. In the one case you referenced the man did murder his girlfriend so I’d argue he deserves to be portrayed as the perpetrator / antagonist. Bad news and news with a bad guy gets more viewers and better engagement than positive news, that’s part of the reason social media companies surface so much controversial content.
