Woolite for everything! Dark woolite for darks, the one in the white bottle that says for colors for colors. Wash most clothes on cold. Underwear on warm! Also, zip and button jeans or shorts or anything with a zipper and turn them inside out. That way they don’t ruin the other clothes! Try your best to wash like colors and like fabrics together!

Girl, fertility-wise, you are so good until your mid 30s. You will find a man who wants you whenever you are ready! I think you need to work on your self-confidence! You know you are attractive but you are acting like you don’t think you will be worth anything in just a couple years! I’m 29 and I’m more attractive now than I was at 22. Some women actually age up if they take care of themselves or have tweakments! Don’t be so hard on yourself!

Leave him. If he is the right one he will miss you and realize you were marriage material. If he wasn’t, then good thing you got out now.

Idk why you got downvoted for this. If he likes you to wear those things, maybe you could wear them around the house sometimes to please him but dress how you want in public? My husband likes me to wear revealing stuff so I do when we are at home alone together but I dress very modest in public as I prefer. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with dressing in a certain way to please your spouse sometimes but I don’t think you should have to alter your style 100% of the time if it’s not somethin…

He says he would “pursue a relationship loyally only if he got sex.” A man with above average value will pursue a relationship with a woman he really likes even without sex. This is a guy that just wants the cookie. Please OP, pick someone better to be with!

I just straight up told my husband I wanted to be a stay at home mom eventually. Once we decided to have kids, he got a new job making way more money.

I was in a similar situation. After we started trying to get pregnant, my husband actually did get a new higher paying job! I think the actual possibility of having a child soon made things “real” to him! I suggest you start praying and don’t shy away from having these serious conversations with him! Fertility is fleeting and you do not want to regret not having children later in life! Also, I am pregnant now and planning to WFH after this next year of teaching so I can be at home with my baby! …

Although I think this is a good suggestion, I just want to share that I personally know several women who have frozen eggs and tried IVF and had it fail. Some have even frozen embryos. Unfortunately, this egg freezing trend does not work 100% of the time and IVF is a serious process that takes a toll on your body. One of my coworkers actually quit during her IVF because the preparation caused her hormones to go crazy and she was emotionally unstable. I just want OP to be aware this isn’t somethi…

We had dated on and off since high school so before getting back together, I made it clear that if we were together again, I would want it to be forever. He agreed. Within a week or two of us dating again, he took me over to his parents’ house and reintroduced me. A few weeks later I met his child. We agreed we would buy a house together within a year then be engaged shortly after. So, I moved back in with my parents to save money. We bought a house 6 months later. He paid for the down payment a…

I have never once paid for a meal for my now husband while we were dating. In previous relationships, we went 50/50. All of those relationships ended. If a man values you enough, he will pay for your dinner 100% of the time when he invites you out. This is not an unreasonable expectation. If the man can’t pay for your $30 meals, he’s not going to be able to support your and your future children and is not the one for you. Consider following takethelovepill on Instagram - she has great advice for…

I do not think yelling, throwing things, or breaking things should be labeled the same as someone who is physically abusive. My husband and I went through our similar situation before we were married as well. I’m not saying her situation will definitely work out the same as mine, but I don’t think it’s fair for anyone to act like they know that this will definitely end in a divorce/abuse.

How do you know what will happen if she stays? Are you Nostradamus?

Also, I’m not saying she should put up with this indefinitely. I’m just sharing from experience that sometimes you can get through a rough patch like that.

I am not condoning any beating or physical abuse of any sort, nor am I saying it’s fine for people to treat others in this way. What I’m saying is that no relationship will be perfect 100% of the time. There are all kinds of things that can happen in someone’s life to influence them to act out in ways like yelling, name calling, throwing things, ect. As a teacher, I give that grace to my students every day. I let them know it’s unacceptable and I ask them to work on these things. Every day is a …

He was yelling frequently during that time period and I was yelling back. He threw something once or twice. Might have broken something small. It was not okay, I’m not saying it was. He doesn’t think it was okay either. But we got through it and are more in love than ever. No relationship will be perfect all the time. It should grow with time - it’s so true that if you are married to the right person, you grow together! We have both become better people because of each other. We rarely fight now…

My husband and I went through a rough patch like this before we got married and then again 2 years into our marriage. We have now been married for over 5 years and I love him more now than I ever have. I made the best choice of my life by staying. Stand up for yourself in a respectful way but don’t let him ruin your happiness. Try your best to do chores (knowing one day you won’t have to work) but do explain that it is hard to have the house perfect when you also work full time. Know that no one…
