Your theory kind of falls apart if you take into account that women can actually enjoy life and sex with someone who isn't the most attractive person on the planet, so long as that dude can provide for them and show them a good time. Women can mentally compartmentalize meaningless sex with attractive people the same way men can, or the way men can compartmentalize jacking off to whatever insane volumes of porn they watch in their free time.

Been there with the Vilar stuff, it’s very convincing now but odds are you either will meet or have forgotten you’ve met women that actually have convictions and ambitions.

I think a lot of young men used masturbation as a coping mechanism for loneliness when they were kids, and now they are realizing that not madturbating is making them feel better. It’s not the retention of semen that makes you feel better, it’s the lack of a ritual that usually starts due to loneliness and ends with shame

Okay, that may be what you saw but I saw a very different picture on twitter and the like. And even if you're right and I somehow missed the huge backlash against this story, how do we know what percentage of the audience responded? how many people just saw the headlines and made an assumption? the media makes the headlines & starts the conversation. we can't know how many people were influenced by their sensationalism

And since most of the audience for "~the media~" is women, a story confirming their preconceptions about men (the popular idea that they are all evil) will get clicks and traffic, and one exonerating a man or suggesting that he was the victim will not get clicks.

Using women as sex objects isn't explicitly part of the system, but an effect. It's what happens with the most powerful people in the system, and the systems are designed to keep those with power in power and to allow them to treat others however they want with no repercussions. Also, men literally rape so much that they will rape men in prison even if they aren't gay. Further, if you think women aren't used as sex objects in the porn industry, you're so far in denial that you might not be able …

Well men also rape rampantly and create power systems where they can basically use women as sex objects (for example the porn industry) so don't act like all we do is watch porn and jack off lmfao

Man, I feel very sorry for your living situation. I hope it doesn't stay that way.

Why do you assume he's blaming women?

You're absolutely wrong. There is common decency between men, as long as those men are decent. I may not have admiration for a man weaker than me, but unless they do something that makes me feel they don't deserve my respect, then I have what I call "ambient" respect for them.

I think if the love is not reciprocated, then either of those situations would cause disgust to arise. The using sex to lure into commitment could either moreso or less-so induce disgust in the guy depending on his personality and how he feels about "meaningless" sex.

exact same ingredients So if someone gave you the exact same ingredients as a master chef and told you both to make a meal, you would have the exact same meal at the end of the cooking and preparation process? I call bullshit.

His lifestyle is "hot," his physical attractiveness from her point of view is heavily clouded by how she feels when she is around him, which would be a result of their conjoined lifestyle

Seriously, I could have literally copy-pasted his 2nd comment as a reply to the beginning of his 1st comment.

I would love nothing more than to do this all the time but my friends are kind of ass holes and would probably be the kids making fun of this poor kid to look cool.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
