1	The single most effective way to improve your overall confidence is to take on a leadership role, no matter how small. Stepping outside of your comfort zone and leading others will yield results in other areas of your life The crux of this tip( as I would take it, after reading people's comments) is this: be ready to take initiative to get yourself in leading positions wherever the opportunity presents itself(not pragmatically, more actively) once in that position it becomes more about rolling with the punches as they fall.
