I’d add that part of what makes this dynamic appear even more skewed is that, socially, women are often more skilled than men. Especially in emotional intelligence and reading social cues. From a young age, they’re encouraged to be communicative, empathetic, and socially aware. That kind of upbringing sharpens their ability to influence, deflect, and maintain control in a dynamic, often without appearing overt about it. 6	Question about guy I'm dating who's going away for a few weeks (Guy perspective) You don’t make that suggestion numerous times then backtrack by saying it’s a misunderstanding. Seems like he’s having second thoughts about your relationship / pulling back because he’s potentially meeting a girl there. I don’t think I’ve ever done this to a woman I’ve dated.
