Got served this evening after being out of town for work. Returned home and a process server was there. What was written in these papers.. horrible.. it’s “lawyer speak” according to her. Child abuser, drug abuser, alcoholic, cheat. Every possible thing. All lies. Never felt like this in my lifeMy wife tried to demonize me, “all for the sake of our child”. Personally don’t know how these woman are capable of committing atrocities like these with next to no conscience, when years prior they are living the happiest day of their lives getting married to us. It’s irrational and unintelligent behavior to say the least. Yes she lied about anything and everything relevant to us and the judge cut me a lot of slack (fortunately) | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/09/19 08:02 PM
Help for a dear friend going through Hell...I see, unfortunately when I was going through mine (represented myself) I was working and never bothered to check the mail, in other words I didn’t show up to any of the court dates set for the mediation. It didn’t have a huge impact on my end however, I did miss out on that experience. I wish I could give your friend some advice on the subject. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/09/19 10:17 PM
Help for a dear friend going through Hell...Odd that a judge would go to that extreme, does not seem realistic to demand that from somebody regardless of gender. I imagine if you were to get a lawyer you could easily work a better deal out for yourself, chances are you won’t be getting 50/50 because you don’t have the resources to care for a child ( which is a shame considering it was the judge who took everything from you ). If you believe in God, keep praying and get a lawyer. If you don’t believe in God, get a lawyer. Either way, you d… | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/09/19 09:27 PM
Well boys, today is the dayShe definitely tried her worst, it was basically an attack against me from her, her lawyer, and her mother. But I stood my ground and am now fighting one day at a time for my daughter. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/08/19 03:43 PM
Well boys, today is the daySame here I’m giving my testimony soon. Stressed a bit but I’ll get through this. I’m representing myself am 22 years old. She has a lawyer and the whole things a dramatic display of her trying to hurt me. Too bad cause I’m a lot tougher than I look. I will never let this bring me down. My life’s hard enough without her trying to get the judge to side with her | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/08/19 04:47 PM

D-Day is comming. Feeling sick to my stomach.I’m on break now but giving my testimony very stressful. She made many lies. Mostly here say. Wish me luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/08/19 04:37 PM
I gave up today also, or rather, I opened my eyes.Forgive and forget. Move on, she’s not worth your time anymore and will never deserve you again. You’ll find a woman who’s in it for the long term just like you and you’ll wonder how you settled for anything less. Good luck man and I get it, I’m still going through my divorce. It’s a brutal ordeal but you gotta detach all your feelings. She doesn’t deserve mercy or compassion, express no love towards her. It’s over. Count your blessings and move on | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/08/19 02:24 PM
I fucked everything up.All I can say now. I feel what your going through. Many people can. If we can do it, you can too. You don’t have to understand it. Just believe it’s possible. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/19 12:36 AM
Judgment Received Today!I see. Then this divorce can be fairly clean then. Good luck. I’m sorry this has happened to you, but it seems it’s over now and you should never take her back. Will only create more grief later on. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/19 12:34 AM
Judgment Received Today! You must have married her when you were 35. Any children? | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/08/19 08:27 PM
I fucked everything up.It’s all in the eye of the beholder at this point man. I tell you death isn’t as relieving as you think it is. Anyways, if you wait, focus on other stuff and grow more confidence, you will remarry, have kids, life will be so good you wonder about it. That’s a fact bro. If you kill yourself, well that’s it. Your life will have been meaningless buddy. Go help someone, volunteer, join the military, firefighters, police, or become a teacher, or learn how to survive the outdoors, work and save money … | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/08/19 03:01 AM
I fucked everything up.Your not wrong. And yes it’s normal to feel that way, however once you heal yourself to a point, given time and self help, it gets more bearable, my wife left me after she gave birth..... How I felt was betrayed, used, scared, stressed, angry, depressed and sad, miserable, confused, sick, hateful, homicidal, suicidal to an extent, lost, like I wasn’t good enough, tormented, like my best friend stabbed me in the back hoping to find something she thought was better, paranoid, huge hit on my pride,… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/08/19 02:54 PM
I fucked everything up.Don’t give in to the pressure. I know the emotions can be blindsiding but believe me the causality of death is worse. No contest. I highly suggest self help methods such as therapy as well as focusing your thoughts on a hobby, or anything else than your cure circumstances. Pro tip: if she was as perfect as you claim she is, then wouldn’t she have been able to find the strength to stay with you and work things out? Wouldn’t her love for you outweigh her own selfish desire for bliss? Or is it actu… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/08/19 10:42 AM
I need advice. Just found out my wife was cheating on me since September 2019.Once you file for divorce, find yourself a lawyer and fight for your kids. She may try to get money out of you but just keep collecting evidence against her and your lawyer should come up with a game plan. Express what it is you want out of this and keep with it until it’s reality. The divorce process can be complicated if you don’t have the know how so it’s super important to get legal aid. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/08/19 11:58 PM
I need advice. Just found out my wife was cheating on me since September 2019.Okay well I’ll tell you this, I’m not sure what state your in and how different the laws are over there but I live In Wyoming. I am still currently going through my divorce. My wife was a cheater as well. Back in early March I filed for custody/visitation for my daughter, I didn’t go to court for that until May (so 2 months). I just wanted to get it over with as quick as possible, so during the initial hearing the Judge told us that August 28 2019 would be the final day where everything is settl… | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/08/19 08:23 PM
I need advice. Just found out my wife was cheating on me since September 2019.If you love her and have an ounce of dignity let her go. She doesn’t deserve you. Move on and don’t look back. I’m sure the temptation to reconcile may be there but don’t. Hate to sound cold but she’s got some issues she has to fix in herself and if she was willing to cheat on you for months while your kids were there to bat, she’s only going to do it again, whether it be the lust or provocation from an argument. Once a cheater always a cheater. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/08/19 06:02 AM
RejectionYes my wife looked for any reason she could find to leave. Unfortunately she decided to run away with my daughter and I didn’t see her for 5 months. It’s a shame but it’s reality and you have to do what’s best for you now. I know I had to. Everything I do now I have to do better, be better, and I can’t afford not to for the sake of my child and myself. Be strong, nobody can promise you life will be easy or fair but one thing you can always be sure of is how you choose to respond. Be the bigger m… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/08/19 04:47 AM
