Of course not! I hope this post didn’t make you think that, if anything the only way to actually reach collective liberation is by uplifting black and indigenous women in everything we do.

I feel like honestly the worst parts about feminism are the narratives that white women push, like what if we took every opportunity to listen to WOC because obviously they know better

This seems like not a good enough apology for hiring and protecting an actual pedophile

Statistics show that the happiest women invest in their friendships with other women, focus on yourself and know that you can get through this :)

Understand it’s likely not “your horny alter ego,” it likely has more to do with some learned habits forced upon you by patriarchal ideology. I’m not saying your sex drive isn’t valid and real, but be aware that it takes legitimate effort to re-wire our brains to not want the male validation we get from sex.

Some women get stuck in abusive situations because men are master manipulators (never underestimate your oppressors). These women often suffer from ptsd, Stockholm’s syndrome etc. we should always be caring and look out for each other and realize that men are the enemy. That being said, women who contribute to the patriarchy in this way have no place in my life personally.

Nothing you really can do, just be there to support her for as long as you’re willing (set boundaries about that for sure) but at the end of the day she has to figure it out for herself.

It mostly has to do with how deep the patriarchy goes. It is the norm and deeply engrained that men hate women, mostly on a subconscious level. Women also have internalized misogyny because of this. A lot of people are not willing to work through this or come to terms with it. That’s why it’s common for women to know who assaulted them, it’s typically a friend or family member.

i have one male friend who is a true gem, honestly just luck. Yes he is deeply flawed (just like anyone else) but he’s always there to support me. It’s never been anything but platonic between us and we treat each other like family. I assume it’s as rare as finding a HVM to date as well.

She’s saying that maybe you should do both recognizing that your white privilege does exist even if you’re queer. She’s saying that ignoring your white privilege and using your queerness to justify that is indeed the problem.

Uhg such a mood, most things I’ve romanticized in the past have just been made to be traits of toxic masculinity. That being said, now that my mindsets changed so much, men who are high value come to me and I’m overall much happier. It’s hard to let go of, but once you do your overall quality of life increases.
