I beg to differ. If you look, there are plenty of guys defending their circumcisions (which should not have to be defended anyway, especially against fellow men). The difference is that FGM takes away extremely important spots for pleasure on a woman (I saw a post on the front page just today saying that the clitoris is the only organ designed specifically for pleasure, with over 8,000 nerve endings or something like that), while circumcision does not.

As a circumcised man, I believe in circumcision, I'm more than happy with my penis, and I'm not going to let anyone try and convince me that my parents (or me, if I have a son) are evil infant genital mutilators. It seemed to me that it was because she was taking too long and he just wanted to get his shit and get out quickly. Most people don't make this an issue, for example a lot of the time if someone is taking a long time deciding what they want, they will tell the people behind them that they can go ahead. It's kind of a common courtesy really. Had she had just let him get his stuff first while she was getting her muffins, he would have been done before she was even ready probably.

I believe this was most likely because he was searching for somewhere else to go before moving out, he might have thought that the woman would be let off because they wouldn't believe him and then he'd get kicked out. Also might have been some liability for leaving instantly.

I can see that as partially explaining it, however that changes nothing for later years. It points out the flaw that women are treated differently and socialized to like different things, and this issue can only be addressed at a young age on a family or primary school level. In the case made by OP, it is clear that the girls didn't have any interest in the lecture and thus wouldn't be swayed more than likely anyway.

Lucky man. My situation would have probably ended happily like this, except that nobody formally slapped me with charges or a write-up or anything official, so nothing could have been really reversed on her like that. I agree with this, though I would clarify that I'm certainly not a misogynist. I think most people would lie to get back at someone they hate, I just think it's fucked up that women can always cry rape and men can't do the same at all, because we all know that no man can get raped because we're all just voracious, carnal beings who don't care what or who we have sex with.
