Sounds like your body is attuned to that easy-to-reach orgasm found with your vibrator... Try manually stimulating yourself next time you masturbate (even if you don't orgasm!) to get your body used to it. After a while you'll be so desperate for release the manual stimulation will get you where you need to go. (Kind of like how some guys have to resolve their "death grip" issues with masturbation so they can cum from intercourse) Many women require direct clitoral stimulation to orgasm and it d…

I used to play it on a laptop, but it has to be a fairly new one to run very well. I love World of Warcraft but it's hard to say if you'd like it unless you've played MMORPGs before. You can actually play a free trial to see if you like it before committing to a licensed copy & subscription but the features are a bit limited. Worth it if you're interested though :) Some people may think that getting involved in a really immersive game is counterproductive to your goal, and I certainly wouldn't t…

My husband and I met on an online game (World of Warcraft) where we were in the same guild and had a close friendship for many years before we admitted feelings for each other :) After that we met in person and had an LDR for a couple of months until I could move to his state. I think that it's important that we were friends at first and worked together well in a teamwork environment. He was also in a leadership position in the guild above mine (guild master while I was an officer under him) so …

My man is a very vocal fan of yoga pants as well :) So comfy! Paired with a cute top and a 3/4 sleeve cardigan (I'm always cold!) I look decently put together at home and I can still take the dog out for a walk without changing.

My husband and I are both Christian, though I was agnostic when we met. He didn't pressure me to convert but he did help me find my spirituality. Having God in our relationship definitely strengthens it and I find a lot of solace in the traditional gender roles found in scripture :)

I live an RPW lifestyle and communication is how my spouse and I address any problems we encounter before they get to major stress points in our relationship. I am a submissive wife and fully surrendered to my husband but we still have to talk openly about things like any other couple. I didn't tell her to nag her boyfriend or be oppositional, just to talk to him about the situation and maybe explore how he was feeling about her asking him to cut out his admirer with the understanding that this …

Can you invite your boyfriend to the race? Maybe that way he will see who you're rowing with and feel less threatened by your friends parents vs. the hot 20-something guys he's imagined. Rowing is clearly a passion for you and it's a very healthy activity not only because it keeps you in shape but because you love it. I know you're invested in your relationship and you want to be the best RPW to your man, but it's important to have healthy hobbies/interests... And his insecurity and unwillingnes…

Mine are physical affection and quality time and my husband's are gifts and acts of service. We're both aware of each other's preferences and make sure we do thoughtful things to satisfy each other's needs :)

My husband is 20 years older than me (I'm 25, he's 45) and he never minded when I texted him throughout the day when we were dating :) If he didn't respond I assumed he was busy so I waited until he replied back so I didn't become pesty. I think as long as you're mindful of his schedule and whether he's in a position or the mood to respond when you go to send him a text you'll be fine. You can always ask him his preferences too! A simple, "hey do you mind if I text/call you at such and such time…

Same here--husband's ex-wife was a complete and total harpy to him for 20 years. It probably took an entire year of patience and being good to him for the effects to wear off and for him to let his guard down around me. It was 100% worth it, he's a wonderful Captain and it makes me so proud to see him at his full potential as a happy and successful man :)

I'll second the BIG sleep number bed suggestion--my husband and I have one and you never feel the other person tossing and turning or getting out of bed to go to the bathroom, etc.

I've yet to see anyone else on this sub with an overt BDSM dynamic but this is what I have in my marriage with my husband. We're 24/7 Dom/sub and the RPW mentality fits into that dynamic so perfectly for me and helps me feel more balanced as a submissive because I know what areas to focus on to be a good wife as well.

I agree. In my opinion being comfortable with having open communication with your partner when it comes to being intimate trumps "experience" always. Likes and dislikes, sharing kinks/interests openly, being adventurous and vocal... That's how the knock-your-socks-off wowza sex happens in a committed relationship :) Intimately knowing (and frequently facilitating) my husband's preferences when it comes to sex is a lot more helpful to me than knowing a little bit about the preferences of the rand…

I've been wearing a lot of 3/4 sleeve tunics from Eileen Fisher paired with leggings and wedges/sandals for the warmer weather. I usually buy Eileen Fisher tops from Saks or Nordstrom and a lot of times you can find them discounted online :) The lines of her tunics are clean and classy but without being too matronly and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion--I've worn the same top to the grocery store that I wore to a nice dinner and to church with my MIL.

I think a big part of it is learning to judge a man's intentions and trusting yourself to make the right decisions when it comes to sex. You can't know 100% of what's going on in someone's head and I suppose you always take the risk of getting burned when sleeping with someone in a new relationship because you're making yourself vulnerable and you can't know for sure what will happen next. In my understanding, RPW wants to help you feel confident in your choices as they relate to your goals of a…

I actually met my husband on World of Warcraft so we've always had an appreciation for video games as a couple. We don't play them as much as we used to, mostly due to being busy, but I can't wait to be able to play MMORPGs with him again once his schedule settles down. MMOs like WoW are awesome because, if you like, you can have a support dynamic for your SO just like you do in real life. A lot of girls are really awesome at healer classes (not that all healers are girls, or that all girls like…

Me too! We were taking turns playing Splinter Cell and it ended up with me playing for 2 hours while he watched and said things like, "Are you secretly a teenage Korean boy??" lol He's much better at driving games than I am, though, so we both watch each other play games the other is good at.

We have a shared account, set a budget mutually, and I pay the bills out of that account. I don't work so my husband pays for everything but he doesn't have the time to mess with estate management so that's just part of my housewife duties :)

Congrats!! My husband and I got married 4 months ago at the Bellagio wedding chapel in Las Vegas. We carried my dress & his tux on the plane and had the chapel provide flowers :) Both of our parents and my brother/his wife attended, plus a minister and a harpist made for an intimate wedding. It definitely wasn't inexpensive (we had professional photography done after the ceremony and they love to nickel and dime you!) but it was nice and low key. We had our "reception dinner" in a restaurant at …

I'm not in a position where I have worry about the cost of things, fortunately, and while it's no easy task I'm also taking it pretty slow to allow me to focus on things at home as well. I'm working towards achieving my master'a degree simply because I want it and I enjoy learning. My husband has a doctorate and appreciates higher education so it pleases him as well. Win-win in my situation.

There's no housewife degree. I've worked my butt off for four years to get this degree. You want to use it. I'm a happy housewife and I have a bachelors degree and I'm working on a master's right now for the sake of personal fulfillment. Much eye-rolling from me on that comment.

I had the same issue in my previous marriage, but unfortunately it didn't come up until after the wedding. My ex-husband was obsessed with an Asian woman that he "missed the chance to date in college" (he was totally a beta-orbiter and I think she may have flirted with him in class so in his mind she "got away") and made it clear to me after we got married that marriage, for him, was just a box checked on his life's to-do list. He started spending a lot of time with Asian women from work and loo…

if he used to be a smoker but has chosen to vape for his health, then I would cut the guy some slack. Agreed, vaping isn't too bad for you and smells way better than cigarette smoke. My SO vapes now instead of smoking and he's a lot healthier for it and even cut down his nicotine to almost nothing.

I wish I could say that I hope this woman realizes that fact at some point and starts paying more attention to her husband but we all know that won't be the case... Still, when she talked about declining his lunch invitations and then said something to the tune of, "When the kids are gone, please ask me out to lunch again!" I wanted to grab her by the ears and tell her, Honey, he'll probably be long gone by then. For his sake, I hope so, because at this point he's clearly just sticking it out fo…

I wear my man's shirts and t-shirts I do this too! I put one of his t-shirts once to be cute and he ended up really liking it so I sleep in one of his t-shirts (or one of his cardigans if it's cold) and a pair of yoga pants and I'm always warm :)

I wear acrylic nails and get them filled and shaped every two weeks. My husband loves it and gives me feedback on how long he wants them, the color, etc. My nails looking nice help me feel put together :) I also never leave the house wearing anything I'd be embarrassed being seen in, even if I'm just walking the dog. Taking even 10 minutes to put yourself together before walking out the door will make you feel and look better than just throwing on a hoodie over your yoga pants to go to the store…

Don't worry, most of my clothes are black too :) Tops that are loose and airy while still feminine and flattering for your figure are the best for summers down here! I wear thin leggings with wedge sandals and long, lightweight tops when it's super hot and it's so comfortable. I definitely suffered through my first summer because I had no idea how to dress for the heat... Now I'm cold unless it's 75+ out haha!

Wonderful, I'm so glad that you've found some solutions for you! I promise the summers get easier to handle--I moved down here from St. Louis a few years back and someone told me once that northerners have "thick blood" from the cold and that's why the heat is so bad for us until it thins out, haha! I always thought that was charming but it seems true in a way :)

Ooh check into a good makeup setting spray to keep your makeup from running when it's hot! I use Skindinavia's Makeup Finishing Spray and it helps my face last through the day. That plus a good eyelid primer helps a ton! And being a bit more "natural" with your makeup looks in the hot summer months :)

I live in Texas too and have long, thick, heavy curly hair. Woahh my goodness talk about hot! To be honest, late June through early September I mostly wear a high ponytail with my bangs in a pompadour to keep cool. When that gets boring I do a pompadour + sock bun combo. Mine is just now getting to a good length to do one big side braid, so that'll be nice to add to the repertoire. (Remember with braids to fluff them out once you've tied off the bottom so they look thicker, especially if your ha…

Hi :) I've been a lurker for some time and I think I've only posted once. I'm in a traditional marriage and embrace being a surrendered wife. I love this dynamic in my relationship and I love honoring my husband and clothing him in the armor of my love and respect so he can go out and be as successful at work as he is happy at home.

I wouldn't consider myself anti-feminist, but to me there's a big difference between feminism by definition (women's rights to equality in society) and Big F Feminism adopted by social justice warriors (misandry, complete social dominance over men just because they're men, rejection of cis-gender straight males, etc). I love and respect powerful women but not at the expense of my love and respect for powerful men. I'll be 25 this year, female, white, agnostic turned Christian in recent years, ho…

I actually use an app called HabitRPG that helps me get daily tasks done (keeping the kitchen clean, doing a load of laundry, etc) because it makes it into a little game. You can also discourage bad habits by making them count negatively against your character's progress. It can get a little nuanced but there's plenty of guides out there that help you set up tasks that repeat on certain days, etc., so it's always set up for you for the current day.

I'm perpetually cold at night as well! Collegiate pants from VS Pink are super thick and warm and my husband thinks they're adorable. I have a bunch of Wifey sweaters from Etsy like the one you posted too :) They're cute and warm! Mine are from this seller and I ordered them as crew necked since the slouchy look is too sloppy for me.
