This is a conversation I had with a feminist woman friend and she essentially said what you said. it's part of the problem of painting genders with broad strokes, where toxic masculinity can be used to describe all men while the nontoxic ones hide under that shadow. It makes it harder to fix those problems. (That said, plenty of men still hide from the problems that are RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM so I can't blame women for the stance they take on that in general.)

If they thought seriously about inclusion and belonging they might actually fix the diversity problem too... But they didn't, and don't.

There's always the option to send her an open ended apology and make it clear you're not expecting anything, even a reply. If you think it'll go over well, that is. Some people like knowing others aren't assholes anymore and won't be damaging others down the road at least in the same way.

That's cool, thanks for that! Pedantic side note, male refers to sex, man refers to gender. These days there is considered a separation between gender and sex. I'm not sure if I agree/disagree and to what extent, just pointing it out.

I just had a thought: I don't think your partner's mom would ever respect your relationship with him unless you're married. Now you've made it clear that you *don't want to, so either you would have to cut her out completely (which your partner doesn't seem to have any intention of doing), or move on and find another partner with a more supportive family. I don't see good options here.
/r/RedPillWomen04/08/19 08:25 PM

Looks like she's trying to maintain her position above you as the closest female to him. Seems unhealthy, as others have also pointed out.
/r/RedPillWomen04/08/19 07:54 PM
9

Just try to be more understanding! /s I think you and him need to have a long talk when she's not there. It's your house, not hers. As much as she wants to be helpful, it's the house both you and your partner live in and if you have kids it might be one they'll share with you. This is not something you leave to someone who has experience, you need to make your own space.

Yeah, there are ways to increase volume without just doing low weights. As long as you stay lifting heavier you'll have a good hormonal response. We're just talking about some ways you can push your cardiovascular system at the same time. Supersets as the other person mentioned, are basically HIIT.
/r/askMRP23/07/19 04:09 PM
1

Yeah, supersets are great too. You've got some great info in this thread OP
/r/askMRP23/07/19 03:06 PM
1

Yeah. Do you know what drop sets are? It's when you chain the same move with progressively lower weights and higher reps, within the same set. Like if your working set is 50 at 10 reps, maybe for your dropsets you'll start at 60, and you'll do 6 reps. Then immediately after you switch to 45 and do 12 reps. Then you switch to 30 and do 20 reps. Something like that. Everyone's different so they do it differently.
/r/askMRP23/07/19 03:06 PM
2

By "lift weights fast" and "compound movements," taipanshimshon meant you can get your heart rate up and your lungs working just by doing some extra work during your lifts. Reducing your break time and doing things like dropsets is another good way to do it.

It seems like you're trying to rationalize that you don't need to orgasm. And my question is: why? Obviously it feels good and you want to orgasm with him, so you should bring it up with your man. And if you don't want to bother him about an act that should be mutually enjoyable, you might be missing the point of a physically intimate relationship.
/r/RedPillWomen10/06/19 04:12 AM

Say thank you, maybe do/wear more of what he compliments, show that his compliments mean something to you in an explicit way. Remember: 1. He can't see what's going on in your head, and 2. Men are more overt in their thoughts and actions anyway, so if you want him to know you appreciate something make it really obvious to him.

Yes, but the point the above poster was making is that what is in those 1800-2000 calories matters as much as (if not more than) eating that amount of calories. In other words, the macro/micro content of your foods matters as much as, or more than, calories alone.

Yeah, definitely not matriarchal. The culture is heavily collectivist, so there's a focus on everyone needing to be happy, which means everyone pretends to be happy. So there are a lot of betas in our culture running around pretending to be happy while they try to please their wives :)

It's reverse psychology at work. Think about it this way: Someone tells you to not think about dogs. What do you do? You start to think about dogs. Then a while later when you aren't even near the person, you realize you're still thinking about dogs and you can't get them out of your head: first it was just puppies with cute noses that you just want to boop, and now you're thinking about a big fluffy mountain dog, and huskies that howl, and then you remember that one beautiful dog you saw the ot…

+1, if it's the same friend and they're close, it sounds like standard male communication where you subtly (or outright) jockey for status, or just joke. I wouldn't be concerned unless he's been talking this way about you to other acquaintances or unknowns. But as I'm not female, if it bothers you, definitely tell him.
