I would be very, very hesitant to label something as 'biological', because there are so many biological differences we've already gotten wrong with our species. If anything, maybe guys have a harder time with loneliness because they don't have the same social supports that women do. That I could see. Women are more likely to have really deep / close / fulfilling friendships that can survive even long distances. Men are also socialized to hide their feelings more than women.

Same, I think it's pretty common to make this mistake at that age. It's also why a lot of predatory guys get away with their behavior, because there's always someone who will view them as 'broken' and just in need of love and validation. I mean, the women aren't wrong that the person is probably broken, and they do need love, but the abuser also needs some harsh wake up calls about their own behavior and how it hurts others. That's depressing. I hope they look at some of those more closely. I get that rape can be a kink for some people, but some of those videos looked too uncomfortably home made... And yeah, reddit can be pretty anti-women, so I get it. I'm just hoping this decision wasn't based on that.

Ah, I never visited gendercritical, so I don't know much about that. Did they give any examples of posts they viewed as bad enough to ban the entire subreddit? They're banning other subs, too, like TRP, so I'm inclined to believe this isn't some sort of anti-feminist policy. There must have been some reason for it.

TRP was banned, thank god. I think MGTOW is quarantined, which, fair. I don't think everyone on that sub is angry at women, but they do promote ideas that are toxic at times.

This crosses my mind a lot, too. And hey, fun fact. Everyone is a slave to their hormones. Guys are just as much a slave to the effects of testosterone as women are to the effects of estrogen and progesterone. Exactly! It feels safe. Being friends with guys is nice because they share my interests, but I feel like so many of them try to turn the friendship into something else and that gets exhausting. Why can't we just be platonic friends? I don't want to sleep with you, I just want to talk about books.

This is a really good way of putting it. It's definitely harder for guys on dating sites, but I think most guys don't realize that 90% of the messages in my inbox make me feel pretty uncomfortable. I will at least say that we have more options as women on dating sites, but that doesn't necessarily translate to more dates or relationships.
