How abt “slut is a derogatory term used to shame women who enjoy casual sex.” Just don’t use the word against people and don’t attack people who are minding their business. It’s so easy.

First of all, feminism has been around since the 1800’s, and women have been exhausted by the patriarchy since the beginning of society. So you can imagine the millions upon millions of educated women that have published journals, essays, books, studies, articles, etc. I’m pretty sure a movement trying to undo thousands of years of oppression has a pretty substantial platform. I don’t believe that men are the subject of hatred in “liberal media.” I think that we genuinely try to hold men account…

Alright I mean at this point your argument is more deterministic than misogynistic at this point (that’s not a bad thing). Whether or not your characteristics are predetermined by your genetics is an ongoing sociological debate, and it can’t be proven. So let’s just agree to disagree.

I can understand your point of view, and your frustrations. Personally, I choose to listen to the context of such jokes or generalizations. I think the reason that straight white men get teased without consequence is that there is no history of mass systemic oppression against them. I choose to believe Critical Race Theory because as a white person it is up to me to hold myself accountable and listen to marginalized groups so I can support them. Freedom is never given voluntarily by the oppresso…

Why are you trying to prove you can act like men? The point isn't to prove that I can act like a man, the point is that modern women are tired of being told that intelligence, power, and ambition are inherently masculine traits when they are in fact not. I'm not insecure that I'm not a man. If you got that from Freud then idk what to tell you man that guy was weird as fuck. I take pride in being a woman because I'm intelligent and ambitious. I am a woman therefore I behave like a woman because m…

anecdotal. sure there are some instances of women who enjoy being cared for, but expecting financial support from men is absolutely not a feminist ideology, in fact one of the key points of feminism is that women should not be forced to depend on a man for financial security. A man has every right to refuse to pay for dinner or support their partner financially, as does any person regardless of their gender. Your money is your money. Do whatever u want

Thank you for your kind comments! I do appreciate hearing valid criticism and hearing different perspectives and experiences. I agree when you say that toxic masculinity and toxic femininity are different displays of behavior. I agree that it’s important to hold everyone accountable for their actions and that a human rights movement/platform should not be abused and used as an excuse to get away with poor behavior. There’s a difference between expecting your peers to be educated and mindful and …

Okay first of all I’m just gonna dismiss the Beyoncé comment because the video is purely playful and symbolic and anyone that smashes and destroys public and/or private property is obviously reckless and impulsive regardless of their gender. If the roles were reversed, yes there might be a different public reaction but I don’t believe that Beyoncé’s music video is sexist. I understand that it’s easy to feel attacked by the idea of toxic masculinity, and I believe that your experience with misand…

Well, it's not necessarily a flaw in "women's thinking" so much as it is an insecurity. Women grow up constantly having to prove themselves in fields where men expect them to fail. I won't accept a power imbalance in a romantic relationship because I'd like to be viewed as an equal and I won't accept anything otherwise. What makes you think that being intelligent and powerful automatically makes you a man? If you rely on a power imbalance in a relationship to validate your own masculinity then m…

My point is that feminist theory has nothing to do with the heterosexual dating pool. And I’m not shocked that you think that feminism seems “whiny.” Honestly from the cis male perspective, it makes sense from your to assume that feminism is pointless because you haven’t had any first hand experience with misogyny, nor have you actively made the choice to oppress women. So I don’t think you actively hate women, I just think you’re out of touch. My assumption that you were bitter and alone wasn’t…

Yeah I mean I agree that of course a power imbalance in a relationship does not automatically mean that there’s discontent or poor communication in a relationship, I’m just saying that I think most modern women don’t want to have to compete with their partner.

not really, I think most women would prefer to have a partner that’s just as intelligent and powerful. The male superiority complex is an absolute major turnoff. I have a hard time believing that any woman enjoys being belittled or living in their partner’s shadow.

Literally no feminist has said that men should accommodate them financially. In fact the feminist platform does not complain about a lack of success in the dating scene at all. Your understanding of feminism is both selective and incredibly limited. You seem to believe that gender politics is only about the heterosexual dating pool; so it seems to me that your problem with feminism is that you haven’t had success finding a partner, thus women are evil and demanding.

I'm a woman and honestly what I look for is men that are funny, kind, supportive, and adventurous. Like if you're a genuine guy and a great friend, you'll be more attractive to women. (Btw great friend does not mean going above and beyond and expecting sex in return, it just means being caring and giving good advice.) In terms of physical looks, nice hair goes a loooooooooooong way. If u want suggestions, look at popular hairstyles among male celebrities. Find a reliable skincare routine, as goo…

I mean the thing is that it happened on its own, if the Chinese government had instructed people to have sons, that would become a humanitarian issue.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
