Don't think I have mental strength ha. I never check comments but I'll take a look. Sometimes sub such as askreddit/men comments is tough.

For me presently that's how its been working. I used to play videogames; the better I got (very high level) the worse I'd feel in other areas. But I see with how direct focus on that one thing it gets in the way cos I've been there also. You are spot on. I fucking hate superficiality with a passion in myself so for me not a risk but broader sense I see. Function>Form great. Thanks boss

I see what your saying but it takes a certain kind of person to work out consistently to the point of seeing results and you can build character through doing it. Most people here I would imagine aren't in it for superficiality. 100% also would fight a bodybuilder before some chump looking mma fighter; that's not the idea. Success in one area builds competence and consequently confidence. It's one of those things - you see the results months later. That feeling spreads to other areas. Most peopl…

"Set me up with one of your cute friends and we can all go on a date and pretend like we're old friends" then STFU. Let her process it in the silence that follows

Yeah agreed I think that's extreme. The aim I think at least is to have the girl thinking about you throughout the day while texting the least amount possible. Not everyday but sometimes. Build anticipation for the next time u see her. If you are texting constantly then it implies u have nothing better to do/ aren't busy with a life. What I mean when I say texting often falls back to the initial approach; you can't build attraction by texting but u can do anticipation.

Great, short guide; Texting Guide. Can't believe someone wrote a book. Short enough that u can get an ereader program and read comfortably. Also some good ideas covered in concepts by mark manson including texting. Tldr; keep it short, b playful, lead the convo, dont tell her ur life story, ignore some questions requesting information, dont constantly text her, share some photos of ur interesting life, if texting a lot b4 meetup date only answer relevant questions (if being spammed) and remember…

I think if you list (important) dimensions of your life and set a goal for each you wouldn't get 10. I think 10 is to get who the post is directed to scramble to think. TRPers should know this principle

Familarise yourself with the difference between motivation and discipline. edit; but I see OP writes this in post. Motivation is something like, "I'm gonna wait for a feeling before I do anything".I always joke with friends, "Oh yes, why don't we all just wait for this wonderful feeling to surge through us before we aim to achieve the things we want in life? What kind of loser does that?" Discipline is like, "I have articulated why this is important and I'm going to do it regardless of my emotio…

Sorry for the shitpost but OMFG it's like you responded to this post made today that made me want to bang my head against a wall. BP warning CMV: Girls should verbally tell a guy she is into him instead of trying to give hints or flirt to get him to figure it out.

I get what you're saying but I'd like to point out your first two sentences are the same thing. Don't discredit yourself like that. If I find your story admirable then that is going to instill aspiration; if many similar stories do the same then that is some kind of indicator as to where I want to grow to. I can then aim to emulate whatever it is I find admirable. I feel it's unnecessary to start your post like that. I share similar sentiments but kept it to myself after reading this http://arch…

Here are two books. The texting guide is short , you can easily read using an ereader program on your PC , GL with the other one it is quite informative and does cover messages. Merry Christmas https://drive.google.com/open?id=1U1fSfO-mBkCSJGOU3cj2p0vcU9PzNef2

Instead of leaving a comment with absolutely 0 value and leaving the reader with nothing but wasted time why don't you aim to be a little informative instead

That's true. I'm young with lack of life experiences I feel and new to TRP. What you said about internalising judgement and failure as part of the process really stood out to me. My strategy so far has been to chip away at things that I'm afraid of, it works well if I do it. I'm not sure how to describe fear or lack there of vs confidence. Now that I think about it some more, the most confident people I've observed were professionals or more generally speaking people who are competent. Self-wort…

For anyone reading who takes psychedelics and is interested in Jung's work I recommend reading psychology and alchemy before your journey. Peace I was possessed by my shadow and I share the same sentiment feeling like a fuller human being after integration. Though psychedelics didn't send me into it but helped me to become aware. I can understand in some ways. Btw love "your mission should be your first love".

I think the other side of confidence is how invested you are in other people's perception of you. For some it's not a big deal if you try , fail and are judged but for some it's nerve racking, the chance of being rejected or failing is too big a risk. By making an attempt you are aware of the perceived risk and it makes you nervous. I don't really think "self-confidence" exists, but rather a kind of resilence against negative judgement and failure.

I would just like to point out that the start begins with "be honest to yourself" and is followed by what I interpret as 'if you don't think carefully / plan your life decisions, you will live someone else's life', proceeded then by instructions on how to live / order of priorities. It contradicts itself.

Approach girls you like. Doesn't really matter what you say, it's in how you say it. It's nonverbal. Look up situational openers. There is no script. Be yourself; this is where frame and approach comes in. It's a numbers game but if ur approaching anyone with a pussy not because you are attracted they are going to sense it's not geniune. I guess approaching girls just to work on general conversation and seeing where it leads could help but it's your choice. If you want further reading I recommen…
