I guess I was a lot more emotionally invested than I thought possibly because I've done stuff like this before with no issue. It didn't bother me at first but after the day went on it just nagged on me. Yeah, after re-reading it myself a couple times stuff like that starts to make sense. I can see what you mean. 2	How do to keep myself from checking my phone all the time? This is a pretty good point. I tried this once before but had an issues with my boss having to walk into my office to come get me for a meeting. maybe I can finally use this as a push to actually get a desk phone. Instead of having to use my personal cell phone. Saying that my work is suffering because a constantly looking on my phone or overall just making up something so I don't have to be on my phone all the time. The trouble is it's constantly buzzing with notification and company emails. so I think the best thing would be to just shut off the notifications like you're saying. Pagers had just come out and they were just starting to become a thing.
