Gender roles unfairly categorize and stigmatize all sorts of things that aren't good for anyone. As far as I know, most self-respecting feminists aren't part of typical engagement ring market. There is a difference between mainstream women, feminists, and women who are mainstream feminists who identify as feminists but don't know what "feminist" means.
