He didn't have a father, but was essentially broken down and rebuilt as a young teen by Cus D'Amato into the man you see today. We all need good male role models, doesn't necessarily have to be your father.

Im not gonna read that. Not surprising. I'm not trying to fool anyone, the science says you get a high from it, not me. If you want to live in a fantasy land this isn't the place. I don't think you understand the core principles of the subreddit you're commenting in. I'm not going to waste any more of my time with someone who can't be bothered to read.

ad hominem much? go ahead and ignore what the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has to say about it because I'm sure your 6 years of smoking trumps their scientific research.

You don't know what you are talking about. Here's what the HHS over at WebMD has to say about it. What are the common effects of nicotine? With each puff of a cigarette, a smoker pulls nicotine into his or her lungs, where it is absorbed into the blood. In eight seconds, nicotine is in the brain, changing the way the brain works. This process happens so fast because nicotine is shaped like the natural brain chemical acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is one of many chemicals called neurotransmitters t…

You definitely get a nicotine high and it can calm your nerves as well. I've heard people claiming they get other mental benefits from it, but it doesn't outweigh the negatives by a long shot.

You must not go to the post office very often, it's standard procedure to cut back in line after you've already waited. Usually they will tell you that while you're at the counter, but after this bitch's outburst they probably didn't feel like doing her any favors.

That's what a stare down is. If you hold eye contact with a smile or nod then it might not be taken offensively, just a little creepy.

That's a good way to get your ass beat if you stare down the wrong person.

Usually it's a sign of submission, but it depends really. Did she always shy away from eye contact or was it only when she was doing the talking? It's not unusal for me to occasionally break eye contact with someone I'm talking to, I find it helps me to concentrate better when I'm not analyzing their every minute facial expression in response to what I'm saying.

I would imagine it's from stress/anxiety unless she has a tic. The no eye contact bit would lead me to believe it's the former.
