Last night I was at a party where a girl there kept calling me confident and that I had my life together. Rather than pander to this and say thanks, I just said "I know" and carried on. I like it as a response because it's sort of saying "look, I don't really need your approval or comments. I already know who I am". So if someone says "oh you're adorable" just act confident and say "I know". It comes off as arrogant/ confident. Anyway the girl and I ended up making out a bit. Even after making o…

I've only just noticed how mystery has perfect teeth, a beautiful jawline and pointy cheekbones, great skin, and fantastic eyes. I know that looks mean nothing in the world of pua etc. etc., but if you look at durden, mystery, deangelo, and even strauss, they're all relatively good looking men. I'm not hating them on that, but I'd love to see a great pua who also looks like shit. EDIT: what I meant is, someone who looks so bad that everyone he pulls is based 100% on personality alone. I'd love t…

I know a guy who works as a photographer in a club. He's quite dull and not the best looking guy, but, fuck, that man is always swarmed with hot girls because of his fancy ass camera. YES. to learning as much pua stuff as you can. BPD is fantastic because it doesn't teach skills so much. It just changes how you look at the world and helps you to become quite natural at the whole game-thing. magic bullets and double your dating are also pretty cool. Conquer your Campus should be a no brainer.

The three best places I've met women: Uni. There are so many things in uni to do, so many people. Clubs and voluntary things. Genuinely, this expands your social circle. You can really get to know someone from this by seeing them weekly, and it expands your social circle. House parties. Self explanatory. The more people you meet, the more chance you have of going to said party. Doesn't have to be a party really - just a social gathering. Invite a bunch of friends to go do something, tell them to…

I actually disagree and think that reading books would be a sensible thing, if you take it with a pinch of salt. Do one or two routines, read a book to see if there's anything applicable, and keep working. Doing standup is petrifying. But the more you do it, the better you'll refine your funny-bones. Go to a comedy club to get an idea of the calibre of comedians around you, write, write, write, and put yourself forward for an open mic spot.

Maybe the husband is the asshole douche bag from which the girl is trying to escape. Yes, but: Maybe There's no 100% rule on anything. Maybe the wallet you found was owned by a millionaire with no care for the contents. Maybe it was owned by a single father trying to make ends meet. So what if most of the time it's from a guy who can afford the loss? If I'm given an opportunity to potentially fuck up someone's relationship, I'm not going to do it for some cheap shag. Escape from the husband, whi…

For those specific buys, the choices were british heart foundation, oxfam, and scope. Generally any charity shop will be good though. If you visit every one in your town centre on a weekly basis, you'll pretty soon get a good idea of the shops that have good stuff, and a good turnover (either in selling, so that they get new stuff up quickly, or in donations, so they put the better stuff up sooner).

I totally agree man. There's such an abundance of inner game shit out there, and its' all incredibly brilliant, but it's not 100%. 4 years of lifting, a completely fly wardrobe, and an incredible haircare and hygiene regime, and the right signals are already being given off.

I'm not sure what it's like overseas, but in the Uk we've got some really nice charity shops. £2 converse, £4 Levis, £4 for one of those thin jackets from topman with the poppy buttons that cost about £30. Back when I was only making ~£30 a week, I'd just do rounds through the charity shops. If there are a good 7 of them in your city centre, each week you can probably get 1 or 2 decent items for a massive deduction. Visit on a weekly basis, and you'll be adding at least one new item a week. (pro…

Up until I watched BPD I'd have totally agreed about this being one of the best things you can do (not trying to plug, I swear). I think it's more important to feel fly at all times. If dressing dapper helps that, then sure. (And to be honest, it probably will. I think one has to reach a massively high level to be able to be an "mpua" whilst looking dishevelled)

Not only is that complete bullshit, it's contrary to what I explained so well in my post that a 5 year old could get it.

that's what I'm saying is good about askseddit
/r/seduction29/05/12 04:12 PM

another good thing about askseddit is that a lot of the time, pua stuff doesn't need an intricate response. It needs someone to tell you to get off your arse and do shit. You don't need an expert to tell you that. "Hey, I like this girl. How can I make her say yes to a date?" There is no magic to that. A guy here once said that he decided to approach a group of girls at 37.5 degrees instead of 45 so that the strobe light would hit his face. Fuck that shit. Want a girl to go on a date with you? A…

I've not really had a massive low point. I've always had pretty reasonable success, however I will share this: before learning about pua, I was generally concerned about my success with girls. I had school, my body, my social circle going well, but not my lover life. The best thing pua did to me wasn't help me get better with women, it told me that I could. Something I could put on the backburner and come to when I needed it, if it was something I desired - like learning Japanese or the guitar. …

Eugh, people in this comment thread need to chill. (ie this is not directed at bookey) You don't go out with someone and say "this is my girlfriend" and expect to hear a barrage of comments about how you are possessing the female. This is my girlfriend; I am her boyfriend. It's not a statement of possession that favours one gender over the other. I know that the pua community gets a lot of shit from feminists, but if this is any bid to hold a flag for feminism, it's misplaced. You guys are just …

She's just as much a possession of her partner than her partner is of her. I think that in a partnership, both members are committed to each other. It's douche bag to enable a to break one side of that commitment and to allow a relationship to falter, regardless of whether that's done by sleeping with the male or the female. If I implied that women should be subservient to men in any context, it was accidental.

What I really dislike is when people say that if a woman doesn't cheat with you, she'll just do it with someone else. That's not the case. A woman could be having the worst week of her life and having a really emotionally distant partner for whatever reason. Everyone falters now and then, and if someone has thoughts of getting of infidelity once in that time, that's pretty good going. As long as she doesn't act on those thoughts it's fine, so don't be the douche bag who enables it. I generally w…

One thing I learned that's great for job interviews: keep a hankie in your pocket. Before you shake hands, squeeze the hankie. Job done. (Or you could just touch people with the back of your hand, or not on their bare skin) Other than that, good antiperspirant may help. If it doesn't, just play it off. It's not that big of a deal.

Maybe the knowledge that you are attractive helps? Going into a social situation knowing that you are attractive to women is an incredible leg up for your inner game.

I still don't think it's worth any thinking about at all. Style, Mystery, Tyler Durden, Etc., all started out terrible with women, and learned to become masters. They didn't have some magical pill to suddenly make them better looking; they suffered the same limitations as everyone else.

I think if any one thing reaffirms the fact that looks don't matter it is the fact that people can improve. Strauss, Mystery, Tyler, Wygant, DeAngelo, etc. are all people who spent years figuring "it" out. Throughout all of it, throughout every bit of the seduction community - they all have the same physical limitations of what they can and cannot change as the regular AFC.

Buddy, if you're so hung up on your weight, then that's the thing you need to focus on. Not some hot chick. One of the foundations of /r/seduction is inner game. Just call it confidence and self-assuredness. If you aren't confident in yourself, and if you aren't self-assured, then forget about having luck with ANY woman. If being fat is a hangup to you, do everything you can to change it. If you already have (i.e. you've a medical condition or something), then accept it and move on. I'd personal…

Nothing. The medics I live with are some of the hardest working and most intelligent people I've ever met. Even after all the research I did on medicine as a degree, it wasn't until I got to uni that I realised I wasn't interested in medicine for the right reasons.

Oh quit the fucking melodrama. First things first, the whole "I'll never have the crazy relationships that other people had" thing is bullshit and not worth thinking about. I used to go to bed at night, and think to myself "If a genie gave me a wish, I'd go back in time to when I was a child so I could have studied more and gotten into med school", but now that I live with med students, I've realised that that isn't something that I want. There's no point in reflecting on the past about what cou…

A) If you can't fix it, feature it. B) No-one gives an actual fuck what you look like anyway. If you start deluding yourself into believing that your hair colour actually matters, it's going to start affecting your confidence.

I agree. People will probs just skim over it, and pick up those things. You could have Seduction is: (blah blah blah) Seduction is NOT: (halb halb halb) I remember reading somewhere (Carnegie?) that it's better to frame statements in positives anyway.

Dude, it's your first time out. Don't worry about landing numbers or anything like that. Just go there, have fun with your friends, and have a good time. If you want tips or advice, all I'd really say is act confident in everything you do. Don't really worry too much about things though. Read the sidebar, and leave it at that.

Holy shit, well done! I'm about 1/3 of the way through BPD right now. This has definitely inspired me to keep on going with it (don't get me wrong, it's amazing, but there's a lot of it).

That's interesting. I'm home from uni for the next few weeks, so I'm not going out or the like whilst I'm here that much. I'm almost finished on DYD, would this be a good book for me to read next?

I'll admit that I am in a similar situation. I've got a decent social circle, but pretty much everyone I'm friends with is a female. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I think I'd be happier with a more "even" array of friends.
