but appreciate when we do. Wow, I feel stupid. It all became clear to me. This whole time I've been following his instruction just to not bother him, but now that you mention it...

The no make up does. If we're going out, he wants me to look fancy. I understand that. I love your username by the way.

My boyfriend does this often. "Dont wear makeup". And I really would like to. He also doesn't want me to look nice unless I'm around him. It annoying that I can't be fancy.

This whole post sounds a little too much like a humble brag: "See, I'm just too perfect and it is causing problems in my relationship!!!" Yeah, no. Did you actually read the post? Or did you skip straight to the comments to bitch about something without understanding it?

I'm completely tomboy though. That's what he was attracted to to begin with. The thing is, when I'm in my natural tomboy mode, I'm aggressive and competitive. I'm trying NOT to be domineering like I was with my ex. So then I slip into "girliness" as a way to have control over my aggressiveness. Which is something that my SO right now doesn't really like, I guess? Basically, I'm trying to not be a dominant bitch.

Whoa! I got really nervous just now. I'm not married to him. I've known him for four years and appreciate his company. Thank you for that last little bit. In the end, if he doesn't accept me, he'll just have to go.

Not sure if it is, maybe even subconsciously, his way of keeping me all to himself (he really doesn't like it when I get all dolled up in make up) and avoiding attracting attention or what, but he seems sincere. This ALL THE WAY. One day he caught me pulling up my shirt over my cleavage and he goes "Well nobody told you to wear a shirt like that today anyway." But I wore it for him! Thank you for sharing similar stories.

Or you might want to see how he responds to a more sophisticated feminine, rather than cutish. You're right. Instead of going for "cute" I should go for "sexy and strong".

Yes, I love where you're going with the super hero analogy. I call him Superman and he calls me Wonderwoman. I really like your response. He says that the thing he loves about me the most is the fact that I don't nag or cause drama. I used to be a controlling bitch in my last relationship and it tore us apart. So this time, I'm really trying not to be. With trying to be submissive (which is something I'm not use to), I guess I've been slipping into the "Eheheh, I'm cute, love me". Thank you for …

You're wrong. edit: I forgive you. Here's context if it helps? I don't know what else to show you to prove it? http://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/1kav5q/how_can_i_be_alpha_if_im_not_willing_to_walk_away/cbn6uix

You're right. I really can't imagine a troll asking a serious question like this but shrugs you never know.

Dominant and insecure is very possible. I don't mean to throw myself in front of a bus, and I probably should be over in RPW anyways, but I was, at a point, a dominant and insecure woman. If a woman is insecure, you bet your right hand she's going to be dominant. She's going to want to have control so as to seem she has power too. Dominant and insecure is actually a very potent mix. It means jealousy, a lot of rage and unnecessary restrictions over someone who is innocent to begin with.

I doubt it being a new account has anything to do with it. Maybe he was an original lurker and just wanted to create an account to ask? Or perhaps his "dominant wife" monitors his reddit or at least shares it and he wanted to make a new one?
