2	Fathers' Rights Thesis. Anyone willing to share? When my parents divorced, my father was court ordered into paying child support. He never paid (my mom never wanted it or asked for it. (If a non-Native family can provide a better environment- that is where they go) It is an effort to preserve the culture and pass it on to the next generation. Often, non-native families have native children participate in things that are culturally taboo(without knowing)- such as cutting a Dakota child's hair.
