Ooooh yes finally a queer woman post in this sub! Also personally I disagree with some chunks of what you are saying as a fellow queer woman. I date both men and women though I generally significantly prefer dating women. I understand where you are coming from about getting in your head regarding approach & rejection. However, the whole gotta kiss them on the first date thing is pretty cringe and personally if someone did that to me I would not be hyped on it. I wonder if you weight women’s judg…

I don’t know might be regionally where you live? I’m in nyc and I would say the top tier of people I know on the attractive scale are all non monogamous. I certainly don’t associated non monogamy with unattractive people quite the opposite. I’m monogamous personally and it’s always disappointing when I have met someone I have liked/ found attractive/ seen potential in and they drop the ethical non monogamy bomb haha.

Hahaha honestly OP how delusional can you be? All of my family lives in Canada and I was also born there moved to the US when I was 13. I split my time between NYC and Vancouver currently. I’ve spent time in all parts of Canada throughout my life and your sentiment is not what I’ve seen. Visibly there’s very little difference between Americans and Canadians you can only tell when they start talking. What you’re describing is not accurate at all. There are plenty of women like you in the US as we…

It is heartfelt praise! I was being sincere in the comment but I feel like once one is on Reddit for a while sarcasm suspicion is justified. But I was not intending to mock you. Quite the opposite.

Hahaha wow this comment is the best mic drop moment I’ve seen on Reddit in a long time. 10/10 living to see these pseudo intellectuals get wrecked by someone who actually knows what they are talking about. Love you Blatherskite for real 💚

That actually makes a ton of sense and I’ve never thought about the age demographic of this sub before. I think a lot of the time I assume that people contributing are in my age bracket (30s) and quite a few times I’ve been thinking wow is this really what men think about women? But makes a lot of sense the majority are young and honestly makes it less horrifying so many of the insanely negative sentiment about women in these subs. They still have a lot of time to unlearn that… hopefully.

At least in the US our economy doesn’t really allow for a single income household anymore for the average person. It’s very rare. Accordingly I guess I agree with you? Because it’s more popular online due to it being a nice fantasy for a lot of people. I think a lot of men say they want to provide that knowing full well they would never be able to. I think some women do in fact want the trad wife lifestyle but certainly not all and I would argue probably not even the majority. It puts one in a v…

From my perspective men aren’t demonized for wanting to leave a sexually unfulfilling relationship. I think the general population understands that sex is an important part or a relationship for most people (unless you’re asexual) but those are the outliers. I think people DO judge and criticize men when they cheat on their partners who aren’t fulfilling them sexually instead of leaving them because they don’t want deal with dividing their assets if married or don’t want to sacrifice their comfy…

I’ve met most of my previous boyfriends through mutual friends and met my current one through my best friend. He was a new friend she made through someone she was dating at the time. I think she had known him for like 4ish months? She was convinced we were perfect for each other and kept pestering me for a few weeks to meet him until I finally did and things have been going well since. I was really burnt out on online dating and had been single for 3 years at that point and completely given up o…

You might be interested in this. Data is from 2019-2020 and shows the ratio of male vs female involuntarily committed patients was (1) men : 1.69 (women) Not sure where you are pulling your figures from but I could only find one study that claims that men are disproportionately committed involuntarily vs women and I found dozens of other research samples showing the opposite that women are much more frequently involuntary committed compared to men. I selected this study to share as it had the le…

I think standards have raised to unrealistic levels on both sides tbh. Yes I agree men are held to a higher standard when deeming someone attractive or not in current day than before. I think obviously that has to do with social media and having view into other peoples lives regardless of if they are real or not. I see this happening with my male and female friends lately. Their standards for who they find attractive and who they deserve as a partner have gotten extreme and IMO unachievable.

Honestly so tired of these types of posts in this sub. It’s the same point over and over again with slightly different phrasing every time. We get it a lot of men who post here think women are too selective when it comes to long term partners and disapprove of how women decide on which men to hook up with or not. Trust me your viewpoint is HEARD we get it. We don’t need you to keep recycling the same tired ass idea. One thing that always stands out to me on these posts is how much men tend to mi…

I’m curious if your main point that you are claiming women are complaining about in your post is men’s standard of beauty for women? How I am interpreting what you said above is illustrating the areas of life where statistically women’s lives have I’m improved since previous generations which I agree is true. I’m going to not get sidelined with what has recently transpired politically but I do think there’s a decent argument that several of those extended freedoms you listed above are likely to …

So I do disagree with how you’re applying the phrase hate speech but by definition it is : “abusive or threatening speech or writing that expresses prejudice on the basis of ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or similar grounds.” So I guess technically you’re not wrong. I do find that most people who have the sentiment that men will fuck anyone are in fact MEN as other commenters have mentioned. It’s just a different energy from how you are describing it vs when majority men use it. I ofte…

One thing I noticed when I used to use apps is that a lot of men will swipe yes on you. That was my experience as well I matched with pretty much every man I swiped yes to. However, I do think (in my experience) a lot of men misrepresented what they were looking for and that became clear when we actually messaged one another. I’m not a casual sex person and even though my profile CLEARLY stated that and I reiterated it in our messaging quite a few of them would be shocked and or pissed when our …
