And MRAs have the audacity to say violence against women - simply because they ARE women - is not a global epidemic.1&2 a random comment that I may be able to find during a search does not mean that "mras think such and so." 3) violence by women against men is violent. violence by women against women is violent. violence by men against women is violent. violence by men against men is violent. Why then, must we continue to support a "violence against women" act, follow the duluth model, support a presidential "office of violence against women" and enforce a national policy of "guilty until proven reeeeeeealy i… | /r/MensRights | 30/01/12 09:29 PM

And MRAs have the audacity to say violence against women - simply because they ARE women - is not a global epidemic.Where have you been told this? How often does this actually happen? Are all of the perpetrators male? How many murders of women "just because they are / just because they give birth to females" constitute a global epidemic? | /r/MensRights | 30/01/12 06:23 PM
"As we know, we cannot carve up a child’s existence on the basis of some spurious 50:50 split in terms of time". Why the hell not? What makes 50/50 "spurious?" So it's better to divide it into some other ratio? Fucking idiot, immoral politicians love to destroy the lives of children and fathers. If the child has to attend two different schools because mommy and / or daddy are assholes divorced, the child is shoehorned & time-sliced into two different learning environments. relationships with friends are disrupted, which is to say nothing about different teaching styles and different [educational] subject matter time lines. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/12 01:35 PM
I support complete gender equality, but the attitude towards feminism here is a bit disappointing...sources are provided. rtf sidebar. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/12 05:49 AM

Fucking idiot, immoral politicians love to destroy the lives of children and fathers. One semester goes with mom, one semester goes with dad. if both parents live reasonably close to the same school district, that might be possible. Often, divorced parents live cities or states away from each other. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/12 05:47 AM |
I support complete gender equality, but the attitude towards feminism here is a bit disappointing...I view myself as a feminist, seeing it as a belief in gender equality, this is your problem. we don't see it as a belief in gender equality. we support gender equality. We don't support feminism. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/12 05:44 AM
Yung'un searching for outlet.put out a book list of recommended reading. Top it off with Christina Hoff Summers, Warrenn Farrell, and Nathanson/Young's books. At minimum, pass this list out at the feminist literature club, as well as the Fiebert Bibliography. the important thing is to rely upon sources, and convey that you're not just being sexist, but have reliable research backing your points. | /r/MensRights | 06/01/12 05:42 AM
Erin Pizzey criticizes Refuge again: "expanding DV definition to include domineering husbands . . . will turn millions of us into criminals"Pizzey is not considered an ally to feminists, especially radial feminists. She was among the first "wait, what? no!!" voices about the excesses of feminism. | /r/MensRights | 02/01/12 06:42 PM
| -7 | i'm both saddened and enraged (x-post from r/relationship_advice by some throwaway)I have to agree. Rape of a male is no less rapey than rape of a female. Still, we get too many truthy male-victim stories to take every one seriously. Even the true ones are far outside our counseling expertise. throw a resource list at them and let them follow up with it. | /r/MensRights | 26/12/11 09:04 PM |
"Ladies' Day": America's first all-female drug court. Instead of punishing the women, the judge offers them a chance to start over. If she gets a bad vibe about a boyfriend, she'll order a woman to steer clear of him.I'll take women getting fair treatment and men getting screwed over both genders getting screwed. I won't. You do not have permission to use me as a doormat. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/11 04:20 AM
Men's Rights Activism - a fledgling feminist sociologist has it all figured out, or maybe she doesn'tI may have a biased view since I have a limited knowledge of it but from what I’ve seen this seems to ring true. at least she admits that much. | /r/MensRights | 15/12/11 01:03 AM
Obama wants women to register with the selective service. He said that in 2008. How hard has he pushed for such legislation? | /r/MensRights | 15/12/11 12:48 AM
with all of the rather terrible stories i've read about child custody, i figured i'd share mine to show there is a light at the end of the tunnel.I do think though, that the fact that I call paying her rent for this year and still giving her quite a nice sum of money each month while having 50/50 custody, to call that a win, is pretty fucked up. I do, however, have my son. That is great. I would have paid any amount imaginable to have him like I do. Is 50/50 enough? No not really.. but at least I am in his life. and this is why marriage is inadvisable. | /r/MensRights | 14/12/11 05:47 PM
