I think one of the biggest obstacles is the lack of practical knowledge about dealing with depression and suicidal ideation from a social standpoint. –	Here's a thought I've had lately with regard to men, suicide, and them (supposedly) not emoting more... I can't speak for all suicidal men since I obviously didn't go through with it.
