Spaniard here, can confirm, we have a specific court, prosecutors, judges... just for "gender violence" and of course gender means "male". So you'll have a specific "male violence" prosecutor and judge and court in case like this, where the man helped his wife die but since it's a man killing (helping to die) a woman the original court that was going to try him for assisting suicide sent the case to this specific court.
