I'm not even going to read the rest of the comments because I'm sure I know what they say. Good for you for being strong enough to know what you want, and courageous enough to go and get it. There are women out there that feel the same way you do and they'll be very happy to find you. Now go get them! The one problem is of course, like you said, that you get better at dating women by dating women. I find that a supportive and open woman will help you learn the curve but there's always the "date-…

Ahh be easy on him. You've made your point, and it's a good one. Let him get a few years on him. Right now there's nothing wrong with his worldview. If being with my girlfriend while grocery shopping is boring then call me boring, but that was my favorite part of this weekend.

People let themselves go far too often by getting fat, chronically tired, getting into debt, getting oneitis, losing touch with their friends, losing their meaning of life or their spirituality, letting work define them, etc. I agree. I think oneitis is a surprisingly good indicator of a person that has given up.

Ahaha SARCASM ALERT but you know what.... I think you're right except for the modernity aspect. The time we live in certainly has the same things happening again but I doubt it if guys were as terrible at this back in the day. Things like Feminism and divorce have changed the rules and some men just don't get it.

I think that's it exactly, or at least why people don't look for help. For me, I heard about the book and then the question really stuck with me...why don't I have a girlfriend. Why? Then I quit wow.

Totally agree. I want to say something (because I'm on reddit) but you're right. So instead, lets change topics. When did WE decide to realize any wrongdoings? There's obviously some sort of "phase" we pass through, because I remember very vividly creating (and trying to create) relationships like this poor sap. What changed?

I agree, and have done so. Some people on seddit think that men can't friendzone women. I have, and it's great. Women as friends are great. The reason I reply is that I'm convinced this isn't the case, due to her thinking it was sexual from the start. This isn't a bad thing, I think that he might not have gotten what he wanted, but maybe he got what he needed.
/r/seduction19/10/11 06:36 PM

I totally agree! But the more I read it I think... why WAS the guy in there for two hours if he didn't already know her. Friendship with women is a great thing but I'm certain he just lost his nerve, especially since she already thought it was going to get sexual.

No, I don't think it is. I think you only read the first half. He starts like that but by the end of the two sentences you come to the realization that it is quite possibly HER that is doing the using.

These guys below/above me are retarded. You don't have to fuck every girl that looks at you. I'm proud of you for letting it ride. What exactly does she have to offer you except for being beautiful? It's possible she's awesome, but you have enough on your plate and you don't have to engage every woman in the world.

Well... I certainly understand the difficulty of finding an example. Maybe... "Oh that was REALLY good!" - Sarcasm "Oh that was just terrible" - Flirting
/r/seduction17/06/11 10:42 PM

Wow, there's some really good examples already but let me share with you one way I read somewhere. I heard that flirting is the exact opposite of sarcasm. Sarcasm is when you say something negative in a positive way, and flirting is saying something positive in a negative way. I certainly don't mean insults, but if you really think about it you'll figure it out. Good luck! Sarcasm, opposite of flirting.

Oh for sure, The bathroom thing is creepy. If someone did that to me I'd be weirded out. I was just talking about at the start. Just FYI the turning of the head is a great point, but circular booths help. And I love that movie

I think it's romantic. Everyone does it in places like Brazil or Spain. Maybe you're just weird. I'd hate to think that I was a product of my environment and culture on a reddit developed to help people self-improve.

First point, you provided those quotes to prove your point but I think maybe you should re-read them with an open mind. My beliefs are that men are less emotional, over-all, than women, or at least less prone to escalating emotional situations. I DID say it's either her or you, so I ask again, have I ever SAID that it should just be men that control their anger? I meant that as a spokesman for men, I can't speak for women. I do see your point! It could swing either way, but you're using my words…

Have I ever said it should be just men that control their anger? Or are you spinning my words to fit your agenda? You're allowed to hit anyone you want if that's how you want the world to work.

Because it makes you an adult capable of dealing with issues without resorting to violence? Honestly, if it comes to violence you've either had a hand getting it there, or you don't know when to walk away. But that's just me. Defense is defense when you're attacked for no reason, but OP's story has a reason.

Zipzo mentioned the pros above, but in my roommates case it was to moralize hitting a women. To give him the ok to do what society tells him is wrong, although I'm sure he really wanted to. My point is to have a firm ethical ground that witnesses can back you up on.

Well, it's late, I just wanted to summarize my point as belonging to the "cool head" category. But that is an excellent response and I'd just like to say I'm bummed out for you for the family drama. I've been there, although it was an ex, and I had to throw her to the ground. I'd like to conduct myself better than that, but in the moment it's what happened. So my question is this. Although you are polarized from your family, would you do it again? Same situation? Is this an ethical stand you wan…

Exactly. When I read false rape cases all day on this subreddit I have to be for anything that improves social justice. And that doesn't really have anything to do with gender. And I'd like to live in a world that doesn't rely on violence to make a point, and...I guess I'm living the change I want to see in the world.

I had a roommate that had a five punch rule. The rules were clearly stated after being struck, and the counting began then. I've seen it happen, and you know what? Every party agreed that it was fair. He lived with a bunch of spoiled Albertans, so hey. I think this argument is just based on you losing control. That's not an attack on you, its just either her or you, and I think that men should keep their cool. -Signed, some dude from the internet

I call this "robot gentleman" I don't know where the name came from, but it's just the mindset I have when neurotic and anxious punker2828 can't get the job done. If robot gentleman comes out there's no need to worry about how it'll go. Since habits are formed though practice, I'd be mindful of the line between pretending to be an asshole and being one. What are you talking about! Wait no, Smoothcam72 here is right. You should be a lap dog to this woman. Make sure that she knows you are solely invested in her based on an hour conversation. Don't create attraction by pushing and pulling. Don't do anything that may turn her away because you are afraid of being alone and this is your one chance. /Sarcasm

Ok, I take it back. We obviously were on the wrong tracks. But how was i suppose to know what you meant? I found it (and still do) pretty raw, like you were saying I was just doing this for ....whatever reasons. Bad reasons. I think it's fair to say that you're off topic and ready to use any excuse to bad mouth women. I'm also in the middle of a huge essay, and forgive me for doing this, but apparently on my period. TL;DR How was I suppose to know what you meant by your first comment?

Right on man. That's the conclusion I came to as well. But having read some of Neil's other stuff I think that you're forgetting that he (the Author) wanted to make you feel that way. He wrote the book that way to get you to that point. He is not "the game" he is a writer who....has affiliations with the game. After learning not to let women or others control your self-esteem, you're letting Neil dictate how you get your self esteem. This might be a moot point but if we're talking about how the …
