Tbh, while I'm all for positivity, for how many people (especially men) have told me I'm overreacting or that it wasn't "that bad", sometimes you just need to share your story. To hear that you're not "crazy" and have someone who says "yeah that was totally fucked what the hell??" .

A lot of women still vote "in man's interests" because of ingrained misogyny, following what our currently patriarchal society tells them is right, or because they are afraid of backlash from the men in their lives

Sorry but no. How many horror stories have we read where HVM ended up being NVM who are good at acting. It might be true that NVM always find a way to out themselves (usually within 3-6 months) but I'm not going to let myself be played a fool for that long when I could figure out right away. What's pick me imo is if you sneak around to go through his phone. Ask for his phone whenever you want, if he says no or tries to put it off to delete stuff, leave.

The key word is bodily autonomy, this is true for both men and women, but your argument is equating women's bodily autonomy to men's financial autonomy. That's apples vs oranges She has the bodily autonomy to have an abortion, meaning her body her choice. She has that freedom. But she has to face whatever consequences come from that. He has the bodily autonomy to have sex freely, without a condom or other reliable pregnancy prevention on his end. (These are largely how these deadbeat dads are, t…

Unfortunately, I always assume a man will lie about watching porn to sleep with a woman, addicted or not. I am at the point of ZERO tolerance, so I've had to get smart about talking about the subject to find out if he indulges in it AT ALL Lead into the subject so he can't automatically shut down the conversation. If you're on the level of considering having sex, you should have the conversation of what your likes/dislikes are sexually (that he initiates, he should show that he cares what satisf…

I think he is lashing out due to a lack of affection. He's not a toddler. He doesn't get to lash out on innocent women because "he didn't get his share of the toys ))::" He’s frustrated that he doesn’t have affection in his life contrary to other people who do. And yet, rather than looking inwards and seeing what is different between himself and others, he instead directs outwards and wants women to settle and be fuck holes He feels like he deserves it No one deserves companionship, let alone se…

There is so much more wrong here than the idea that he may be physically unattractive. Gym or no gym, he feels entitled to a woman

Dear Goddess one of the other commenters said his is obsessed with Only fans and porn and is only 17... How?? How are they corrupted so young? How are you not even legally adult and already dehumanizing women??

I have never gone out of my way (really? Picking valentine's day to fight with your girlfriend?) to hurt someone the way I've seen men hurt women. If I don't like someone, I will just cut them out of my life (where possible) and keep my positivity for others. But I can only think you would purposefully ignore someone's request WHILE still enslaving them to your needs if you hated them and wanted them to suffer.

You're a stronger person than me.. happened the same way with ME setting up reservations for a restaurant HE liked over an hour away. I had begged him a month in advance to book something for us. I gave up and booked this a week out. I got dressed up. He showed up in shirts and jeans. We took my car (he didn't have one lmaaooo). He didn't speak to me the whole hour drive. I paid for gas there AND back. I paid the check. He complained the whole time that I didn't book early enough and that the pi…

Why is it that men's love languages tend so much to be physical touch and words of affirmation?? Maybe because they want effortless sex without her orgasming and then to be told what a good job he did for changing his shirt today? (I am still traumatized by this one sex points chart that included "brushing your teeth" as one of the "chores" shudder)

Another thread was like Well surely he does x thing for you? Oh well what about x minus 10 thing? That should make you feel loved right? No? X minus 10000 should be enough, you're probably just not noticing he loves you Oh, well then maybe you should break up with him The standards are so, so... SO LOW.

Can you believe they implied in the comments that SHE isn't doing enough to find out HIS LoVe LaNgUaGe? And that she has to find out HIS needs without communicating so he will meet the needs she has very clearly expressed. Jfc, I treat coworkers with better courtesy, if they need something and I can (very simply btw because her bar is in the earth's core) do it, I will do it. I haven't replied to any of these others but I will reply to this once as follows: None of what I said above implies a good man is a slave. No one is forcing men into submission by expecting them to put in the effort to approach. If you find that to be "slavery", then you are the exact type of passive man that most women do not want. I find it ironic that the people talking about "power dynamics" in these threads are men, the gender that has almost exclusively held power in society for millennia…

So what this study doesn't tell you is "do relationships where women pursue the men last". It's obvious that women are more likely to end up with attractive men if they message first vs the other way around. I'm sure most men would love not to chase, or put effort into pursuing a woman and just to have her come to him. She already dresses nice, looks good, wants to date, a nice pretty package gift wrapped up in a bow, just for him, no work required. These women are more likely to pay for dates t…

90/10 for the first 1-2 years of a relationship. At this point we wouldn't even be living together because it is too dangerous physically emotionally and financially to cohabitate before then. However, the majority of all other relationship based expenses he should be covering (dates, gifts for me, food/drink, trips, etc). My 10% comes from buying an occasional small item be it small gift or card during holidays/birthdays and covering the tip on food every so often (never the bill). After that, …

That's the point. Guys who pump and dump are also likely pretend to be honest and sweet and communicative and want a future etc. It's putting your money where your mouth is. I don't believe that guys who just want a quick fuck will shell out cash to take me out on quality dates (maybe it would work for a girl who puts out on the first date? But that type of girl would be less likely to have any kind of standard around being paid for either) If a guy that pays is just as likely to bail as a guy t…

It's kinda the idea of the "ride or die" woman or "the good girl waiting back home" kinda sentiment, where as men are not necessarily expected to be as emotionally intelligent (see tv tropes like men zoning out when women talk about their day, not being thoughtful by forgetting birthdays or anniversaries and he's in the doghouse, blaming women's emotions on periods etc). Thats just media of course, but it both affects and stems from a societal standard. It's great to hear your values are healthy…

You're definitely right to feel how you want to feel about it, I'm just giving the perspective of a woman who is not necessarily doing it for the cash, but more of a proof of character. From the opposite end, a lot of women will still split 50/50 but are STILL supposed to be an emotional rock, a therapist, spend lots of money on hair and makeup to look good, be a "good woman" and cook and clean, and all these extra things that don't necessarily have a "monetary" value. Just to end up cheated on …

He's been in a number of interview saying how much he thinks Luke is out of character in the sequels. How Luke is a Jedi through and through and he would never give up and let it just "die" in the metaphorical sense. Luke is the stereotypical good boy hero ever optimistic sense of justice fights the good fight type. And in the sequels he's just this pessimistic, giving up kinda old grump and Mark haaaatttessss it. There's a few youtube compilations about how he dies a little inside whenever he t…

Tbh, I think it's about timing. I am the type that likes being paid for and financially spoiled during the dating phase and initial part of a relationship ie year 1 or sooner. It's not that I want you to provide for me your whole life, I want to know that you are financially smart, stable, thoughtful and /generous/. These are the things a lot of women want in a long term partner. Once I can see the relationship into a more serious future long-term partner stage, then I can see things going more …

There's words then there's actions. He can say all the right things all day, but if there's no follow up and he's not holding himself accountable, it's just acting. Nice words to placate you into waiting around. He's let you down before and you tell him you're upset. He's so sorry. he let you down now, but wasn't he sorry before? He knows it hurts your feelings. I'll be the downer here and ask: why are we even shitting on her for her looks? Making fun of her hair and body type.. And saying "all pickmes look like this" is an insult to a HVW or newbies to the FDS strategy who might look like the OP. We're here to point out bad behavior and mitigate against it, not tear down other women's appearance. Be better.

How carefully and considerately planned can these dates be if he's asking you out all the time? How much time is he really investing in himself if he has all the time in the world to ask you out on dates? Is he hoping to break through the fabled "third date rule" very quickly? Women can get off fine on their own lmao That's not how vaginismus works, but ok Most men have low standards, finding women "sexy" is not much of a compliment If that were the case she wouldn't consider it a "pump and dump", just a one night stand Lol check half the posts on here about opinions on n count but ok It's mostly risk and minimal reward for women in most sexual encounters.
