Thank you for the honest information. I do not expect to just waltz into his life and yank him away from everything he knows, even if it is a bad living situation. I just want to be a part of his life again, and to make sure that he (and the courts) know he does have an alternative if it's just me or his grandmother. I have no intention of filing any sort of false report. Honestly, I have no clue what the situation is, as I haven't had anyone respond to any of my attempts at contact in the ten years that this has been going on.
