Tire yourself out working out at home. Or you can get used to it. Sometimes I go to work at 6am sometimes at 6pm and any random time in between. I just do things when I can and have my workout equipment at home.

Quit after a couple months. Decided I didn't want to waste money on it and I didn't want to die early and reek. Truly believing that made it easy to say no. I still hang out with my smoker friends but saying no is easy even if they offer me one. Don't agree with it anymore but I won't judge anyone on their vices.

I am so sorry. Nothing you find on any website is going to make you feel better. Now is the time for you to see friends, family, a therapist, anyone who you can confide in. Not going to sugarcoat it and say you'll be able to go back to the way you were before because you can't. All you can do is remember him fondly and try and live for him one minute at a time.

It makes sense. If you had a choice between the most and least popular restaurants in town you'd probably go to the most popular one even if there's a long line.

Try never to regret the things you've done. Even if you went back in time, without your knowledge of the future, you'd make the same exact mistakes over and over because the choices you've made beforehand have shaped you into the person you were at that moment. Even now everything you've done up to this point in life has led you to reading these words. So now all you can do is accept your mistakes and become a better version of you. I've done some messed up shit made dumb choices too but I don't…

It's the answer I'd go with. Gives her a chance to reciprocate interest or take it as a fun joke if she isn't interested. Can't really lose unless you're creepy about it.

My experience is a bit different. I love my dad really but he just was never around to teach me anything. So I never really knew what guy shit was or what it was like to be a man. The upside is that I'm completely independent and taught myself to be able to do anything since I couldn't get help much. So where a normal guy was at with masculinity when he was 13 I didn't get till I was 23. But i was also horribly depressed, lonely and suicidal for 97% of that decade so i can also blame that. Upsid…

What this guy said. Every employer wants a yes man to dump all the extra work on. Don't act like one. I had my boss's boss tell me to hurry up cause we were busy the other day. Ignored him then worked a little faster once I was out of sight. The second it stopped being busy I went back to my calm pace of doing everything right and not rushing. Guess who wasn't asked to work a double. Really thought I'd be fired after so many years of this but people notice when you do good work reliably.

Depends. Someone steal a lighter from you or say some shit they didn't realize is over the line is forgivable as long as it doesn't happen over and over. Major shit like throwing you under the bus or a partner cheating isn't. You gotta sit down and define your boundaries both minor and major. Letting someone step on those boundaries is beta. Correcting them so it's never gonna happen twice isn't. It's God who's job is to forgive not yours. Forgiveness from you is a major luxury and should be tre…

Honestly this is one of those situations that you really need to know the whole context. Like I have two very close friends who are a couple. I hang out with both of them together and individually since they like and talk about different things and I like both their individual and group selves. Now if it was someone I didn't know too well then absolutely not but I wouldn't call someone like that a friend. It's a title to be earned. So ask yourself what advice you'd give to someone else in your s…

When facing any charges at all get a lawyer and NEVER talk to the police. THEY ARE NOT ON YOUR SIDE. Their job is to get you convicted even if you have done nothing wrong.

Ok this isn't too difficult. So I don't know him so I don't know his level of shyness. If it's major then he might wonder if you're just joking with him or trying to be nice. So to be safe don't tell, show. Go out with him and just him to places. Dinner, movies, Netflix, board games, do as many things you can think of with him and make it known how much fun you're having with him. Then he'll be ready for any declaration you have to make. Make it on a high note though like when you've just made h…

Good job my man. Keep trying. Also a little tip for eye contact. It's easier if you look at one eye rather than trying to focus on both. We can only truly focus on one point at a time anyway.

Be completely straight with him but make absolutely sure there is no room for misinterpretation. That being said if it was me personally, I wouldn't do it unless I was in the sweet spot where I know someone enough to trust them but not well enough to care if I ruin the relationship with them by permanently associating them with that event.

That's all it takes. Just keep going since it's a numbers game. Keep playing long enough and you'll win.

Get a job that forces you to be social. You will learn very quick since good conversation will lead to success. Security helped me be tough in the face of angry people and serving and sales made me into the guy everyone loves and wants to be around. Like I went to an interview at a new place and accidentally became friends with most of the crew. I don't know how it's just automatic now. With enough practice it can be for you too.

Hey man it's all good. My lifting is pretty shit compared to everyone else so I just got some plates and a bar off Craigslist and I get to work out while watching my favorite shows. I'm still fairly weak but I look significantly better. You might not notice it at first but your outfits will fit nicer. That alone will be a sizable confidence boost and will make everything easier.

It's not about not giving a shit that you got rejected. It's about not giving a shit about being rejected by someone who didn't impress you. Don't go out thinking "what can I do to make them like me". Instead think "let's see if they impress me enough for me to ask them out." If they reject you right away then they just saved you time. If they reject you after awhile then you got experience. You always win in some way and believing that makes approaches easier.

I do pretty much what you do. I mull over my successes and how much most of the people I know love me for some reason that I still haven't figured out yet and that puts me in the right mindset. Also helps me get out of my depression relapses.

Time. It's like a cut. You can scream and get mad at it all you want but that won't make it heal faster. But if you just accept that it happened and leave it at that one day you'll realize it's gone. Doesn't matter what it is, a bad experience with an activity will make me avoid it for awhile but I know I'll get over it or forget about it eventually. You will too and just knowing that could help you feel a little better now.

If it's a normal/direct approach and ask then it's very flattering and I'd take them up on their offer at least once if I am somewhat attracted since I find a woman who asks for what she wants very appealing and a great personality can substitute for physical appearance for me personally since I prefer long term relationships. If it's a threatening approach and ask I will likely leave asap for fear of getting robbed or killed. I don't mind if she comes off as slightly creepy as long as it doesn'…

I feel like I've said this before but it's not a problem unless you make it one. I'm pretty much your height and I didn't feel like my height was holding me back until the internet told me it was. I let it get to me and because I was depressed I believed it. Took a long time but I got out of my depression and just stopped caring about the things I couldn't change. I'm a short ugly chubby introvert but I'm a person that people love anyway. I've accepted that I likely won't ever understand why but…

Yeah I'm your height and I noticed it too. It became a problem for me when the internet told me it was a problem. So I let it bother me. Then I stopped caring about it after awhile and suddenly it wasn't a problem anymore. It's only a problem if you think it's a problem. I related it to my car and that's how I got out of it. I hated my convertible because of this little issue here and another there but people loved it. Then I realized I hated myself for these little imperfections too and yet peo…

/r/seduction18/12/17 09:13 AM

Direct all the way. You make progress quicker and come off as genuine. It shows you're confident in yourself which helps if you aren't great in the looks department like myself. I've tried the indirect and it feels like I'm tricking someone into liking me which makes being real harder and if she isn't into the real me, just makes me waste more time before getting to the rejection. So that's why I'd advise being direct always unless you're trying to deceive someone you hate or something.

Communication is key. Talk to her and figure out what's going on. Otherwise the thoughts and assumptions will get worse and it'll ruin things even if everything is perfect.

That was a little lengthy but it looks like you know what you're talking about. If you do a part 2 I'd revisit steps 2-4 by rewording it and going a little more in depth since by looking at my less socially adept female friends I can tell that that's when they start struggling.

Figure out what kind of guy you want. Go to where that guy would hang out. Wait for a guy to approach you or Approach guy you find interesting Tell them what you want As a woman you have the advantage with being able to be blunt and direct with most guys to save time. Take advantage of that.

On the bad side? Yes. Everything hurts. I was incapable of believing that anyone could possibly want me or even like me. Nothing in my life made me happy. Things that made me happy before either made me sad because I wasn't good enough or made me ashamed because I should have been working or studying. Why work hard at anything? I'm just gonna kill myself anyway. Almost did a few times. Failed either because the means failed or because I lost the will to. Thank tulammos shitty bullet for not goin…

Literally just ask. Give a hint that cannot possibly be misinterpreted and ask. If someone asked me and I was interested that would be that. If I wasn't I wouldn't be offended and no one would be left wondering. So be brave and ask. Let them know why and I'm sure they'll be considerate of your inexperience.

Talk to them and make yourself memorable and entertaining. Don't make it about housing them or they'll think that's the only reason they are there. Let the one you like know that you're interested. Be fun and she'll assume you'll be fun to be with.

I think we all know this but have different names for it. What you call harmless guys I call nice guys and what you call nice guys I call them things like a man's man or a chill guy. Your points are good though. Being kind isn't bad it's being a doormat that's bad.

5'6" here. The hell does more qualified mean? Oh look at me I graduated dating school and here is my diploma oh I'm so much more desired now. It doesn't work that way. First you have to be fine with your height. I was upset about it for the longest time but realized that only hurt me. I'm happy with it now. Something I heard was that an easy way to do it is to really listen to what they say and rephrase it and repeat it, making a question or statement out of it that they can respond to. If someone says that they did something and they're enthusiastic about it don't say something like that's good. Get enthusiastic as well and ask them why, how, ask for the details so you can get some of the experience and so they'll associate you with that good memory. People love feeling validated. Then once the en…

I always appreciate it later but at the time it depends on the girl. If she's cool and chill and at least an acquaintance I'll be glad. If she's extremely forward or I don't know her at all I won't take it as well as in I'll get away asap. Keep your cool as best you can and let them know you're into them but don't tell them you're so in love ready to be in a relationship immediately since that's a red flag for most guys. But a girl who has the confidence to approach the guy she's into and let th…

Yeah this is common so don't think you're a freak or anything. You talk to guys or girls you're not interested in and you're fine because you're not worried about what they think of you or how to let them know you like them or whatever. You just gotta keep trying until you can talk to literally anyone and keep a cool head. Spend more time around the people you have this issue with and eventually it will become normal for you.

I'm 5'4", chubby, ugly, and haven't aged a day since 14. I was suicidal and of course incredibly depressed. Like not even able to recall a happy memory. Never getting compliments even from my own family. Needless to say girls had negative interest in me. My only hobbies were video games and TV. But I had this high-school friend who was good looking and nice enough to tolerate my presence. I asked her what was wrong with me. Yeah it's a head thing. I'm amazed at how many red flags I see in my friend's relationships and even more at how they put up with all of it. Like damn there's literally thousands of people who are better for you. Of course they take offense to any sort of criticism and their girlfriends give them the ultimatum of them or me. Wish they'd make the right choice more often instead of putting up with mental, emotional, even physical abuse.

Introduce yourself. You'd be surprised how many people light up when talked to. You know how sometimes you think "I wish they'd talk to me" when you see someone you're interested in? Imagine that everyone is thinking like that because a lot of people do. Be the hero that saves them from boredom.
