You have to consider annual expenses, life expectancy, rate of return on retirement savings, withdrawal rate. May be if she earns as much or more than you then it would be easier to evaluate whether she is into you and wants to genuinely build a life with you. 1	I'm really having a hard time... "I'm So old" thats a very cynical view. 75 year life expectancy, would mean that you are in the 4th inning of your life. If you just consider adult life (you have 60 years of adult life expectancy), then you just had 20 years of adult life with 40 years of adult life ahead. 1	Blessed but scared? I would suggest invest in yourself. Workout - even it is a simple workout routine (run 1 mile a day, or walk 45 mins) do it. Add physical activity that is fun for you. If you are athletic and can run in a basketball game every day or crossfit everyday, even better. Educate yourself. Pick a field you want to get better at, invest time/money effort to get better.
