When she was getting ready to propose and she proclaims her love, saying "I love you so much" and he responds with, "me too" omg I'm DEAD !!

The amount of pickmes in social media, especially twitter, is insanely high. It's truly sad that these young women will say and do whatever it takes to get likes/attention. This is why I've ended up pretty much quitting social media in general.

I truly believe that an HVW would not succumb to physical violence at all and so, should never even be in this type of "scenario "... unless it is absolutely necessary, ie self defense, etc.

100% agree. I do not understand why people think it's ok AT ALL for anyone to lay their hands on another person, be it woman or man. Learn to keep your hands to your fucking self. Violence is never the answer unless it is needed, ie. in defense.

I'm also staying child-free because I simply just dont have the urge to have kids. Having pets is enough for me. Kids are time sinks, money sinks and just an added stress and worry factor to my life. I enjoy the freedom to do and go as I please as well. I have so many hobbies and activities that I still want to do and travel.

An ex I dated always used that phrase, "you're so shy" everytime I said no to his advances. Thank goodness the dating only lasted 2 months because I found this amazing subreddit. ❤

Hell yeah! Queen shit!!! I get so very annoyed with my parents, especially my mother who constantly negs me to find a man and marry, have kids already. I don't even want children. She was raised very traditionally where the women LITERALLY takes care of their husbands. No. This is a different time, era, and we queens aren't taking that sort of shit anymore. We are independent, beautiful, smart and most of all - need no damn man to be happy.

All my brothers are complete NVM/LVM and my mother was the biggest pickmeisha... She would always call for me to do anything and literally everything around the house or help with anything... while my brothers just laze around....

You are the prize. He has to put in the effort and money for your precious time. You're a Queen after all.

I guess it depends on preference, I dont plan on ever having children due to the fact that I just like my freedom and my outlook is that children are money sinks. I typically do look for men who are childfree and arent really looking to have children either. But yes, MAJORITY of men who do have that mentality are the childish ones and age plays a huge factor too. Be on the lookout on how they carry themselves, and I pay very close attention on how they react when asked for a clarification for be…

Girl, what? I'm so sorry that you've been through this. This is absolutely awful but to put it plainly you've been raped, abused and used and you're still sticking with him? Why? Since day 3 he has disrespected you, from that day on that should be the last time you see him... He is using you only for his pleasure and to sum it up, you're his sex slave. Theres just so much going on here. I think you need to seek a professional, theres a blatant cry for help here.

Hi, so I have a legitimate question. I've been receiving tips and advice from wonderful queens on my previous post to not talk about my needs and expectations but, it looks like talking about our standards, feelings and everything is actually suggested to see if he respects them here? Sisters, I'm so confused

Tbh, he has shown really no red flags as of yet. He was really respectful when he wanted a hug or a kiss. He had asked if he can kiss me on the first few dates and I said no and he respected that. We had went on a total of 6 dates.

Thank you sis! Yes, you're totally right. I just assume that men are all just dense and very dumb.

So for context: We had gone on a handful of dates so far and he had mentioned that he has deleted all his dating apps and would focus on me. He asked if I would be doing the same and the convo continues to these screenshots.

Yup! The old me wanted to be nice and give the ugly ones an equal chance even though i wasnt attracted to them at all, (especially my last ex) because I "felt bad". Nope. Horrible, horrible idea... thank goodness I've levelled up.

The audacity when an LVM, 4/10, overweight, +10 years on me says that he is used always being in relationships where it was 50/50. Yeah okay, byeeeeeee! That's what happens when I lower my standards. Never again!

I've learned so much on FDS, I was a lost pickmeisha and I've learned to love and put myself first! We got this sis!

Same here. I was in a 2 month relationship with this man who I thought would be HVM... I followed the pattern and saw that, he was a NVM through and through and took note of the red flags. I kicked him to the curb 2 weeks ago and I feel amazing. Who knows how long it would have taken me if I had "wallow" in falling for the potential he has. Now I'm speaking to a Doctor now and wont let myself fall for the potential and keep it slow and steady to see if hes worth the time :)

Hi Queens! I've been dating this man, potentially an HVM for a month.. I was the biggest ex pickmeisha and feel awkward of expressing what I want. How do I let him know what I'm expecting from him and how the relationship would be?
