Bitter Bar was a good choice. Used to live right across the street from it.

Oh man my life haha I'm told this constantly, and I've found there's a thin line between charming and alienating which is tough for me to balance sometimes. hope there are some good insights in here.

Maybe it's just my sense of humor, but I love when a girl can keep up with my trolling until we are talking about fighting off bears with lightning bolts together. Thats a girl i'll go to the ends of the earth with

Interesting info. Somehow that makes me feel worse for them. But it's probably for the best. Serial killers don't make the best idols.

what if a serial killer is just being himself That is actually just more support for your point. Many very nutty people throughout history have been so charismatic to the point they can say some pretty fucked up shit and people still feel comfortable.

Why did I stop going to so many DJ sets? I guess I felt like I had fallen in to a pattern. When I went to shows I was the epitome of 'just there to dance.' You couldn't talk to me if you wanted to. Most shows are so loud, it isn't really possible anyway. But I fell in to this pattern of working my ass off all week (Eng. School) then going to these shows on the weekends where I didn't really talk to people, and I got super deep in my own head. I didn't really talk to people much at school, and I …

I see this so much, and I am on the complete other end of the spectrum. I can give so few fucks about other people that it would make your head spin. I'm much more curious how to get more involved/ be nicer to people without (feeling like I'm) losing social value. Maybe I'm just an asshole, but I don't think it's that uncommon...

As a senior in college, I can not stress this ENOUGH! I just started to get involved in a few things, and the change in my social circle is insane! Can't imagine what my life would have been like if I had started as a freshman...

I started hosting a college radio show, and I think that it has been helping me get over this quite a bit.

Depends I guess. Seems like MOST girls I come across at uni don't really have text conversations. Everyone is too busy and social to do that. You don't need to worry about keeping you on her mind. You kissed her, you're on her mind for better or worse. Let her lead the text game until the next time you make real plans.

I am a computer engineering student, so I find myself with not much else to talk about sometimes. I have found that women really are interested. Don't go into details of your latest algorithm that is going to save you 10 picoseconds of executing time that will turn them off in a heart beat. If you can say something simple and relateable that will blow their minds, you're in. I'm not saying talking about computers has ever gotten me laid, but I have had some great conversations with attractive gi…

Same. I think it is because fear and excitement are such complex emotions. If I do something where death is a possibility, I rethink life a little bit. The same cannot be said for happiness/contentedness

That exact thing happened to me this year. I was hooking up with this girl who was notoriously dtf. She actually liked me, but I sorta didn't believe it, and sorta didn't want to get emotionally involved since she was kinda promiscuous. Fast forward a month or so, and I find out she hooked up with one of my best friends. For a second I wonder if I should be pissed, but then just sort of shrug it off when I remember I never really planned to get attached. Shit got a little weird between me and th…

Woah crazy I came in here to say Camus. Any of his books really... All his characters do whatever the fuck they want. I would also recommend The Sun Also Rises by Hemmingway. The main character in that is a badass too and makes you realize how worthwhile passion is.

I love going on Art Museum dates. Most have a free day each month, and it opens up opportunities for hilarious analysis of the artists' intents with each piece.
