Well if I imagine all the terrible things that could happen to me - being unemployed, homeless, suffering diseases - cancer, burns, HIV, depression etc., warfare, natural catastrophes... not having a partner doesn't seem like that much of a problem to me. Like, I could most definitely live with that. But if I was born in some north african country where over 90% of girls suffer genital mutilation, that seems much more of a health risk.. In fact I work in a hospital and we need a signature for everything. I worked throughout high school, now I attend college while still working part time.
