I suppose I was more confused by the level of disparity between the two sexes that the OP was implying. I could not understand how men pay the most in and get the least out when the standard deviation between the percentage of women that work compared to females is only 6 points according to the last census data. Could you explain further how women pay negative net taxes though? And why men pay most of the taxes? If the statistic is that ~75% or women work and 85% of men work how would the different be that substantial?
