You use the past tense, "women were oppressed". Why is fighting for womens rights, and not human rights, still acceptable? By definition, this is what feminism is. The mens rights movement only exists to counteract the damage caused by the purposed "minority" of feminists who are misandrists.

Well said. I wish there wasn't a need for a mens rights movement. But, when people espouse the absurdly that the FEMINIST movement is about equality, it becomes apparent why it is necessary.

I'm not trying to deny the positive changes that happened as a result of the womens rights movement. But, to what end does the feminist movement continue to today? I actually checked out the post mentioned. There is no indication of any attempt to show off. Also, discarding pictures where you feel you don't look good is something both sexes do.
