No, because unlike the cake, she can exercise free will. He is free to have any standards or set any conditions he likes, because she is free to say no and refuse at any time she chooses. On a side note, I hate that saying. The reason to have cake is to eat it.

Arlene said that she was once contacted by a Microsoft programmer on OKCupid who required that she read Neuromancer before “he would consider taking me out on a date. He was not joking.” How dare a man have standards for shared interests that a woman doesn't happen to meet! Of course, the entire article is a giant list of standards she demands men meet for her to date her, but of course that's totally different.

If frame is more about emotional state, then being logically wrong about something would be an entirely separate issue, right? You can be wrong about something and lose your frame because of it (break down or get angry and combative), or be wrong about something and still maintain frame (shake it off, joke about it, don't dwell on it). Being wrong is bad, but how you deal with being wrong can make an even bigger impact.
