Since this is a throwaway I don't really read it very often, but if you're still wondering it basically meant she dropped the idea of going out, without giving out any hard plans. So I stalled a bit after my shift to walk to the train with her and asked her out while we were walking together.

Thank you guys for the advice, did some extra kino and she actually preempted me with a soft close before I could try one. So obviously, I've asked her out and we're doing logistics.

It's possible that ends up being too much too fast, but on the other hand I'm fairly confident I could read her signs to see if that's what she's interested in. Hm, the problem with that is that I am generally that more serious, committed type and, having worked with me for 6 months, she's figured that out already. On a certain level this already is that sort of fun-loving, relaxed relationship, but the big difference is that she knows my end goal here, which is to have a LTR. So there could be that concern about me getting super attached, and I'm not really sure how to mitigate that.

I've just realized actually that ever since we had that conversation I've not really done any kino, despite the verbal flirting. We were perfectly fine touching each other as friends, so I've actually been unintentionally de-escalating... That probably has something to do with it; I'll start there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
