I don't think that is an acceptable alternative either. If its not against the law, it should be. If the mother doesn't want the baby, the father should be allowed to raise it. If she doesn't want the baby and refuses to name the father then she should pay the state for raising it.

Meanwhile, baby father can go around making as many babies as he wants, because its no consequence to him. He can just make you pay for it financially abort and we can all just pay more tax.

You can't deny the existence of an idea and the sub doesn't. It does examines the evidence that other people cite for rape culture, and often finds it falsifiable. But 'rape culture' is somebody else's belief. Explicitly arguing against it is like arguing that god doesn't exist. Nobody has proof that god exists and you can't prove a negative. I suspect its a power differential. Women are constantly told to perceive themselves as powerful, without any specific merit beyond being female, and the idea that men can't hit back is stronger than its ever been. To be fair to the article, if they said it was mostly boys then hardly anyone would care. It's why homeless charities advertise by showing homeless women when the problem is vastly more male. They don't get nearly as many donations if they show men. Pragmatically speaking, its better for the homeless if they pretend to be helping women.

They aren't misinformed, they are following social norms. Despite feminism's progressive talking points its about the oldest most basic idea around; men should protect women. No, that was just the marketing. It wanted women to be legally equal to men in specific respects, but not necessarily have the same legal responsibilities. Domestic violence is 50/50 male and female. Every study anybody ever did shows that women hit men as often as the other way around. There may be pressure but it hasn't prevented the rise of single parent families.
