They probably should, however I don’t like the entitlement to others time and understanding the previous commenter has. It’s actually a feminine trait. Women feel entitled to others’ time and understanding, and I never really liked it, when men exhibit the same traits it’s double as cringe. There is so much hardship going on in people’s lives, women are busy trying to survive in this economy just like men, no one cares about mens libido broadly unless it’s a specific guy - their boyfriend/husban…

It’s a problem if you can’t fulfill your impulse, absolutely.

But I’m not interested in most men, and the ones I’m interested in have different problems than not getting laid by definition because I’m willing to solve this one.

Habibi this is not ad hominem. I’m not saying you are a bad person, I’m not saying you are a bad man, I’m not saying you are unattractive, I’m saying that you - you have a problem. Which you even acknowledge yourself, in fact this kicked off with you acknowledging a problem. The only difference is that you trying to blow the personal problem that you have, to the scale of the entire population. This isn’t an attack, I have personal problems too.

Dude your personal problems are not men’s problems. They are yours. They are your problems.

Why would anybody make an effort to understand you and your personal wants that have nothing to do with them?

Habibi this particular issue is not a system issue, you checking out is a you problem. You make decisions you gotta live with the consequences. What do you want me to do about this choice to check out and this public announcement, cry “Oh no Johnny come back! 😭” No, nobody is coming to change the world for your convenience.

Why do you, men who checked out of dating, need to announce it on every corner of the internet? As if somebody is supposed to do something

When you are becoming too intimate with one another it becomes boring. I want to feel jealous sometimes. People who don’t give any reason or space for insecurity and jealousy tend to be impossible to be around, it’s cute at first, but then this bliss becomes suffocating. How am I supposed to be attracted to somebody who doesn’t put minimal effort into sex appeal, and dumps their puppy love on me all the time. And what’s more frustrating is there is no way to verbalize it without sounding like a …

I think their complaint is that they didn’t get their goody bag while you grabbed yours. If every guy was getting laid they all would be pro-feminism.

I have so many questions. When was the last time you met somebody who gets fucking alimony? Where do you live? What the fuck is this bourgeoisie problem? Most women aren’t getting a jack shit because their guy doesn’t have a jack shit. This alimony hysteria is not even consistent with this recurring TRP point on average man’s salary being like what, $50,000? Then what the fuck is there for a woman to take?

I’m so tired of this “women are more likely to initiate divorce” one liner, because it doesn’t capture any reasons why women are more likely to initiate a divorce, nor does it explain why divorce is necessarily a worse outcome than continuing to be married. Can we stop saying this, pretty please?

I by no means advocate that men should be pressured into commitments that they don’t want to take, but this whole “If you don’t believe that I’m committed - 🥺” is cringe. Of course nobody believes that you are committed. Because you are not. You can’t request this level of trust from people, especially considering that you can easily uncommit.

They stick around for longer than they should, and they have no insight into the other persons perspective. I think they don’t ask themselves where a relationship is going on time and build themselves illusions.

Just to be clear: all of this is in your head and you are fighting the ghost of your dad/mom/1st grade teacher. I don’t have a single person who imposes these standards, or any standards, on me. Like, nobody gives a fuck.

Just to be clear, as a guy you don’t have to be anything. You have to be these things to appeal to women, if you want to. It’s more of a free marketplace logic than somebody imposing expectations on you.

Not unless I didn’t like his approach. If he does anything that I perceive is rude or out of line, I will bully him so hard that he will require psychotherapy. Example of rude: a guy trying to take me to his apartment immediately after I entertained small talk.

People want both. That’s why they will find stable boring goody two shoes and cheat.

Status and money do not solve the problem of attraction. If you want to buy sex, you don’t need to be Di Caprio, just get yourself a plane ticket, go to Cambodia or Thailand, or some other destination and you will see a plenty of young beautiful women. Like, sex itself was never a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 05:30 PM

Okay, first of all, there is a plenty of women who objectify men - as wallets, or as a guy who they can show up to some presentation event with and all women will be jealous. I think there is as many women who see the world through the lens of gain-loss.

As a woman who is guilty of giving people this type of advice, I in the back of my mind understand that “women just want someone nice” is a lazy milquetoast response. At the same time, I am simply not going to tell anybody that they aren’t passing other bars. It’s exhausting, rude and there is nothing for me to gain.

Do women lie and sugarcoat their preferences? All the time. Some of it is cluelessness, some of it politeness and lack of interest to engage with your dating struggles. Nobody owes anybody truth, especially when people interact with you in person. There isn’t a single person, besides maybe your parents, who is interested in giving you a refined and genuine perspective.
