It's how my marriage ended...women hate depressed men. It's like they are the only ones allowed to go through it.

Thanks...way of the road. Without that happening, I would continue to be a weak spineless bitch. It led me to a path of re-discovery and much self improvement.

haha, I did...took a couple of trips to Europe. I've throughly enjoyed life since my divorce, it's worth the $100 a month I give her.

That's the fucking truth. When I divorced my ex-wife, the majority of the stuff I took with me to my new place was what I had prior to our marriage. She kept it all and I still have to pay the bitch monthly on the debt we racked up together buying all that worthless shit.

Holy shit! I'm going through a break up with a Czech woman right now. Beautiful, sexy, sweet, treated me right, then all of the sudden bam, the relationship was over. I thought she was different, but she's exhibiting all of the AWALT traits and it's been wrecking me. We're meeting tomorrow, most likely to end things permanently. I needed to read this so I don't try to beg her back, I just want to walk away with dignity. Thank you.

I know it probably means nothing now, but you're only 18 and you're going to be fine. Recognizing this stuff at a younger age will benefit you more in the long run. I was a helpless sack up until a couple of years ago. I'm 40 now, still make mistakes and still fall for the wrong women from time to time, but I don't let it affect as badly as I used to. I'm going through a break up right now, and yes I let it depress me more than I wanted but I'm also getting through it faster and this time I know…

Based off of my experience, women hate depressed men. I've had battles with depression over the years. The 1st time I was depressed during a relationship, my long-term gf at the time dumped me pretty quick. 10 years later, I was suffering long term and my now ex-wife decided she was done dealing with it and found someone else to fuck. When I have success with approaching, dating, etc I've always been in a good place mentally. With depression, everything is a failure (in your head) and that menta…

Live downtown and most of my friends are married. I could use single drinking partners.

thank you, i needed to read this. I'm going through that exact same thing with a girl I'm dating right now. I don't want to fall for her so fast, so I'm having to show some serious patience that I've never shown before for a girl I like.

I got back 2 weeks ago from a solo trip to Europe. Two weeks, 4 countries, all by myself. I'm normally a shy person, and this got me out of that. Each night I met a new couple or two or groups of people and would party until 4am like we were life long best friends.

this right here... you just described the months leading up to my divorce. The moment I left her, a huge weight was lifted and I've never looked back and never felt better!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
