Umm, no. This is dumb. Relationships are complicated. One side might be more invested than the other. But you can't say that it's always the man. Also, generally, one person is going to call it off, and it can be either side. And it is the other side that will probably hurt more, regardless of gender. If OP is saying that, in his experience, the woman is the one that calls it off, then I would have to say that sounds like a personal problem to me.

Today a female higher up enters the officefloor and asks if 'ive' been using the female toilets because the toilet seat was up when she went in followed by cold death stairs from the entire room of woman. I am a religious man Irrelevant. And nobody cares. Everything else is spot on though. Your "Pence Rule" for never being alone with a female though, is great advice that we must unfortunately follow these days. Women might say "if you are willing to be 1:1 with a man, but not with a woman, then you are hurting my career opportunities", but that's just too fucking bad while this kind of threat is such a real possibility.
