I would just say: don't smoke don't drink too much don't do drugs exercise/work physically a lot My father is 45 and looks ~35 y.o. without any of this womanly lotion/moistuirizing beauty-industry money-trap.

Some things I wish I knew years ago: Read up a lot about doing it beforehand. Otherwise you can easily fall into a really unhealthy try-fail-feelhorrible-try.. loop. First two weeks will be a living hell. A living HELL. Have plenty of stuff to occupy your mind and if possible, never be alone with your computer in the same room. Do a fuckton of sports. Which is ridiculously hard to be honest, but what did you expect when recovering from a several year long addiction?

Around 3.7% of "dads" unknowingly raise other's children. So that does not include those, who actually noticed that their sons don't look like them at all. It's kind of amusing that there are ~1mln guys depraved of passing on their bloodline in US right now and they don't even know it. Well, parental tests are like prenups. If you are irrational enough to get married, at least try to protect yourself.

Millenium Challenge 2002. While USA is technologically superior, with current state of affairs, they would have huge problem with any kind of serious conflict.
