This guy is an absolute genius. Other possible places he could have left that note? Under the outside garbage can lid, clogging a drain...what else?

Legal right in Canada where the incident took place, too. 🇨🇦

The broader thread is actually a great discussion in general.

Damn. I was just about to recommend this for an x-post to r/choosingbeggars. I'd have been part of the problem.

For the record, he probably should have resigned. That was a pretty stupid thing to say / policy to have.

It's not a women-only bicycle shop. It's a bicycle shop that supports a women-and-trans-only night that they promote as a safe space.

I don't see a problem with this at all. Sorry. It's not great business to advertise that you're open when you're not really open, but that's really the only thing wrong here.

We don't have this in Canada. We did take a whole bunch of draft dodgers over the years. We had over 45,000 women in non-nursing full-time roles during WWII. And women make up over 15% of our current armed forces (all branches). I'd be interested to see what happened if Canada ever had a draft.

See. They never do important research with women as the focus. The pharma industry is sexist. /s

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
