I did that after I found myself helpless when a girl, I liked and did hang around for over a year, moved out of state and I was unsuccessful in asking her out. That was my starting point. That was where the first effort was made and then it just added on. I was an introvert, but that doesn't mean I was dumb and did not have any skill at all. Learn to play to your strengths, my friend. A shit job and a shit body are your weaknesses, but what are your strengths? With the online mediums there is a market for everybody, your strength should be visible in an appropriate medium. A good body person would score on instagram, a man with a good job can score on linkedin. Find your medium and compete there. If someone says "your ego is too big", do journal what makes them feel so. Differentiate it from what makes you look confident. I am usually a less or okay-ish confident person. But, somehow acting cocky helps in the first few interactions and lands me on date/hookup.

about stuff that matters to me (life, philosophy, etc). But, what about the stuff that matters to her? flirting or sexting or anything or everything that she cares for. She heard you, your philosophy and life talks, you gotta hear her too to keep her engaged. Else, someone else is already texting and trying to have her attention.
