Listen to the entirety of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here album. A beautiful example of how somebody with great talent gets crushed by the machine.

The relationship that led me to TRP is one where I lied to her and especially myself about being in love with her. Best mistake I ever made, without a shattered heart, I would have never found this place.

This is true. My parents were and still are high quality, significantly better than the majority of those found in the US. One aspect they weren't so keen on was food. My mother has always been an emotional eater. This trait rubbed off on me and even more on my sister. When we were sad, we were given our favorite food to feel better. When we succeeded, we were rewarded with food. For every emotion, there was a food equivalent. Although I can blame my parents (not genetics) for this situation. I …

Stop seeing your ex, or at least stop sleeping with her of it's not possible to avoid her presence.

Do you have any good sources to help us prevent the Red Pill bubble? Should I listen to country/pop music or watch sappy love movies?

Consider picking a trade. You frequently get to work for pay while you apprentice and there is an extreme shortage of qualified tradesmen in America. The jobs pay good and you dont have to deal with the college bullshit. If you pick the wrong major or associate with the wrong groups, you may come out stupider than you came in.

It sounds like an awesome idea. I'm living in an off campus apt with 3 other dudes and it's waaaay better than living on campus. If the price is right, and you're encouraged by your land lord to rage, I dont see any reason you shouldn't. Just make sure those underage kids at the party don't get you in trouble.

I go to a very small school, we are limited in how administralet'pay so they may be very different from the sororities asst lager institutions. What I've noticed is that the sororities attract the hot popular women and also the whales and the social outcasts. While some of these girls seem to come into college half innocent, the older girls and the more active ones are constantly encouraging them to slut around. Due to the intense encouragement and peer pressure, many of these girls end up being…

I would take the opportunity to work. I got a few interviews because the recruiters liked that I successfully worked and studied. Setting yourself apart from the herd outta a good thing.

Although it is impossible to not recognize a persons outer traits, it is important we realize that it is their experiences that define their personality. Woman all operate on a similar wavelength with extreme patterns of similarity. All Women Are Like That. You may be putting biased attention on what in particular turns you on. You've learned to be more aware of what blondes do because you'd really like to hit up a groovy blonde with the hair all golden. A subconscious urge allows you to attain …

I started realizing AWALT, even your mother, this summer when my mom got offered a chance to take a free online class from her employer. This was a basic, wicked basic, 100 level course that she would constantly bitch and moan over. The same way all the hoes at my school are constantly complaining about how difficult their work is. AWALT, even your mother

Is the "holy mother$;'av" category reserved for just the stanky nasty hoes or is it a dual category of the absolute worst and absolute best. Holy mother-";):@! She's a fucking angel! Or Holy mother);@/); that's one stanky hoe!

I would get out there and find other girls to spend time with until she gets back. Do not put this woman on a pedestal, there are 3.5 billion in the world for you to meet and spend time with. When she comes back, you'll have more experience talking with women and you'll be able to spend a better time with her.

I've always been confused about trigger warnings. Since the warnings themselves mention the event that causes this so called triggering. Wouldn't the warning trigger the trigger without even seeing the scene that the warning is warning against?

This sounds fantastic! I'm spending my summer in the woods of NH, I already know of some trees and rocks that will help me with this. Secondly, is mountain hiking a legitimate replacement for jogging? Thanks!

I understand your frustration. The phrases that got me in trouble were "Why do you look angry?" and "So my friend didn't do anything to you?" To me, that is not talking shit.

I know I was on somebody's private property, and they make the rules when I'm there, but freedom of speech is the right to express one's opinion without censorship. Asking a person why they look angry, and asking another person about what my bud did to hurt her are not things outside my rights.

tl;dr Staying with somebody for that validation is miserable, but if you can't identify what you're doing, you won't be able to fix it. I made the same mistake. I dated a girl knowing from the start that I had very little physical attraction for. Even worse, she didn't have much of a personality and would never stand up for herself. I don't find a lack of these traits attractive. What she did have was an intense and illogical infatuation with me. I thought it was amazing to have somebody so enam…

No, I didn't hint him towards here. I was talking to another guy last night that was pouring his heart out to me about how women don't appreciate his flemenco guitar playing. I passed on some RP advice, but I failed to actually mention it. If I see the guy again, I'll make sure I get him on here. As for closing, I got some #closes from quite a few people and I've been hitting them up, seeing if they want to be my birthday date. I persistently went up to this one girl who told me she would talk t…

Petroleum Engineering student here: My school is about 50% petroleum engineers. The school's male/female ratio is 70% men 30% women because of this. They definitely get the upper hand when getting those internships and jobs though.

Thank you! I worked in the oil patch as a blue collar roustabout and can now identify most of these situations that I was unaware of until this post. Since then, I've been working a white collar job and can see many parallels. I work with primarily women at my white collar job and this information still applies. Some of the ladies I work with will constantly question what I'm doing and how I'm doing it and will attempt to derail me. Beware of the workplace beta women, they will flirt with you an…
