Woman with a strap-on. I don't want a stranger's dick in my pussy when I don't know what STDs he's dipped it in before (assuming the dildo has been cleaned and disinfected before like a normal person would do).

There is literally a a Wikipedia article about this discussion. ... the name British Isles is avoided by some, as such usage could be construed to imply continued territorial claims or political overlordship of the Republic of Ireland by the United Kingdom. If my chosen words offended you then I'm sorry. I was considering writing it out but I genuinely thought there were little to no people who actually would get upset over the word "British".

The British isles don't really represent all of Europe very well.

I've never lived in a city and it never made sense to me either. Sometimes you need a car to get something done but I'll still choose public transport whenever I get the chance.

What about non-hormonal birth control, aka copper IUDs? Ovulation keeps going, just the sperm gets killed once it goes past the cervix.

For me personally it's learning about people's behaviour. I find it fascinating to read what men figured out, or think they figured out, about women and their behaviour. Additionally of course it's about learning about the strategies men have developed to work with and around female behaviour. Though I'd like to add that the dating market, as talked about in this sub, is not a thing where I live. It seems to be a very American approach to dating and thus a lot of things stated here don't apply t…

So when you're speaking of "the west" you're referring to solely the USA or only a part of the US. Because there's plenty "western" countries where prostitution is perfectly legal.

My guess would be around 30%. As long as there is no reason for them to think about it, for example a series of bad relationships or getting sucked in in forums where stuff like that is discussed (eg PPD), why would any woman put any thought into it? Sure, some women have "a type", but I don't think it goes any deeper than that. But I think the very same goes for man. Imo it's a PPD-y thing to try to analyze all and everything. The average person probably doesn't do that. Edit: a word

About 7. I'd like to say that that also isn't limited to men. Anyone can learn some form of martial arts and hold one's own in a fight. Of course if you're fighting as a woman against a guy who also knows MMA it's not as effective, but against a dude who got his fight knowledge from movies? Easily.

Yes, but only if you know that person well and communicate with them. Hell even if you know someone well they might fake it every now and then for multiple possible reasons.

Speaking from my personal point of view I'd say just because a woman is mature, grounded, stable, intelligent etc. in everyday life doesn't mean she doesn't have issues. She might have just learned to live with and overcome these issues so they don't affect her. But the bedroom might be place where she can let go, maybe because it turns her on, maybe because she learned it from porn. I agree that saying most women who like rough sex have issues is not right though. A lot of people just have weir…

I mean being a guy does have a few pros, like you are able to pee anyplace anytime, you probably don't feel weirdly invalidated when you take less than five minutes to get ready before going out, you generally have to deal less with (uncomfortable) clothes and you don't have to deal with bloody panties 1/4 of every month. But there's also so much I would hate. I don't want to get random boners or have to rely on my sexual partner for birth control. I'd hate to not have boobs and thus not being a…

As humans we are lucky to be smart enough to think about the instincts we have. I'd say reproduction is, apart from pure will to survive oneself, the most driving instinct we have. That's why evolution made sex feel so good. But just because we evolved into mammals who can think doesn't mean the instinct to have sex goes away. We just learned to evaluate the consequences of having unprotected sex. But whether these consequences are beneficial or not cannot be generalized. There's many reasons to…

Better than what? Nothing? Sure, but not so much I'll get withdrawal symptoms if I don't get one. Orgasms on the other hand are pretty much the same during masturbation and sex.

I'd say that is pretty tough question that can't be answered generally, mainly due to hormonal birth control. Hormonal BC not only fucks with the natural cycle but also with libido, in every direction. When I was on it I could, really, go months without an orgasm. Now off it, as already mentioned, I'll make it a week. If you're talking no BC then I'd agree that it's definitely a need, however that is defined. If you're talking hormonal BC then hell if I know how each and every woman feels about …

What really bugs me is that a lot of people seem to equalise orgasms and sex when in reality for women, at least for me, they are hardly equivalent. Depending on where I'm at in my menstrual cycle I can go a week, maybe two max, without masturbating. Sex? I can easily go months without. For me sex is an additional, but not necessary way of getting an orgasm. Sex is way more than just an orgasm though. The best part about it imo is intimacy. Do I crave physical intimacy with another human being, …

This reminds me of the Rick and Morty episode (S01E07) where they discover a planet on which the females built sex robots in order to not have to deal with the males. The males, now being able to focus only on war because their sexual needs are satisfied, evolved backwards and became dumb and aggressive while the females built their own "perfect" world far away from them.

I mean I've only had two but I'd describe none of them as pieces of shit. One relationship ended because we were expecting different things from the relationship and the other ended because he wound up not being sure how he felt about me and didn't want to hurt me in case he developed feeling for anyone else. They were both very decent guys.

Zero. Nada. Literally no advice. I think my parents were the "hey she's smart, she's gonna figure it out on her own. Let her do whatever she wants, we don't really care" kind. They were accepting of the partners I brought home and my mom took me to get my first birth control when I was 16 but that's about it. But yeah I think the non existent advice must have done some good because I believe I didn't turn out too bad.

Again, from my personal experience, no, not everyone spends a lot of time in online forum. The vast majority of my friends doesn't use social media for more than browsing memes and staying updated on others lives, mainly on Facebook and Instagram. There's few people my age who spend their time in discussion forums, generally, not just subs like PPD.

This contradicts my personal experience in my greater social circle. I mean it could still be true, but whenever I hear statements like this I wonder. Who says that? The young people who spend a majority of their free time online due to not being very social? Are we only hearing more from them thanks to the internet? Has it been the same 50 years ago and people just didn't know because there was no platform? Does it only seem like that because people who view it differently don't spend their fre…

For me personally there are a tad too many generalizations going on here. I feel like younger generations are very open and accepting of people in general, and being confronted with stubborn opinions on either gender, whether it's a blue, black, red, pink opinion, doesn't go well with that. Especially when most of these opinions have a negative undertone. I mean I get that the main function of a discussion sub is to have a strong opinion, to be stubborn about it and to discuss it with others, bu…

F20, central Europe Generally speaking its not weird or even that uncommon where I live. I've got a couple of friends who don't have any social media accounts, the majority of my friends use social media casually and there's maybe two or three who use it excessively. I'm fine with either one for my friends. When it comes to dating though I wouldn't say it's off-putting, creepy or weird either, it just makes things....harder. It usually means to get a haircut and clothes that fit you. There's no style that fits every single person, but you gotta find out what looks good on you. You don't need to go to a hairstylist every other day or buy expensive designer clothes in order to look good. You could say it's a bit materialistic, but you could also view it as self awareness.

Because when looking at them seperately, physical cheating is a primal thing. Which is still no excuse because anyone should be able to suppress these primal urges, but it's way worse to have an ongoing emotional/romantic relationship with someone else. That shows imo that the cheater has no respect for their partner and their relationship. It's humiliating, even more so if it's combined with physical cheating. Of course that's just my personal opinion though. I'm sure lots of people have other …

I'm not on the spectrum myself but I've got a few close people who are. Without knowing if it's 100% accurate or if it might be offending to some people, I recommend watching Atypical on Netflix. It really helped me understand better how people on the spectrum deal with social situations, including romantic relationships.

Yes, I watch porn. Recently I started getting more into reading erotica though so I don't watch porn as often anymore. Maybe once every two weeks. I read erotica almost daily though. I'm 20. I don't think porn is bad per se, as long as the people watching it are aware that that's all it is. Porn. It's not real. I watch porn in order to turn myself on, to masturbate. Yes, I would consider myself pretty happy.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/19 12:00 AM

Yeah. I don't know exactly when we stopped having sex. We both just stopped initiating over time. Of course there could be a million reasons why but I think it was A because we both gained weight and weren't as attracted to each other anymore and B because of my hormonal birth control, which killed my libido entirely. It ended, about half a year after the sex stopped completely. I don't think either one of us can be blamed. The lack of sex was just a symptom of our relationship going to an end.

I think she's trying to say that men complain when women say that they won't approach a man, because they think a man will approach them if he is interested. They assume that if a man doesn't approach them, he isn't interested. The argument "he could be shy" apparently is nonsense.
