this is performance art as far as i can tell, the bit is that he is purposefully slow to understand. and maybe some angst anyway, i tend to agree with what you're saying. it's not the responsibility of a person being attacked to make sure the attacker isn't injured. practically speaking, the last thing you worry about in a fight is giving out a measured defense

also, nice edit. obviously i know what a straw man is and used it in an appropriate context you laughably tried to pass off: Clearly his life was in danger. i noticed the rhetoric. the classic "isn't this position silly?" tact but this is yet another deflection. if you had a leg to stand on, then you might just simply explain why the force is excessive rather than using parody and expecting me to fill in the blanks (with no subtext, mind you) i do appreciate irony. but will you or won't you justify your position?
